Depends on the magwell art. I always thought itd be neat to paint the Birthday Massacre rabid bunny logo on my magwell stencil style. Jusy mask it off and peint the rest of the receiver, not like color matched and all that.

Two options:

1) Just buy a Colt 6920 or and leave it as-is, stock, change nothing. The barrel will be 16'' though.

2) Find yourself an upper with a 14.5'' M4-profile barrel and a pinned flash hider (to get the minimum legal 16'' length). Should be easy to find one with the fixed sight and cylindrical handguards. Those are the usually the cheapest opions. Look around on PSA, etc. Mate it with any mil-spec lower and the cheapest parts kit you can find.

So the original M16A1 rifle was issued with a 1:12 twist rate. What weight of ammunition is that optimal for? Is there any way to buy vietnam era surplus of those rounds? Does any company make reproductions of that loading? I think integrally suppressed pistols are a waste because there's no benefit to locking the baffle stack to one gun, it's no quieter. But with a bolt action rifle, you can benefit from the ported barrel and utilize a thinner or shorter baffle stack. It makes a big difference in that case, where it doesn't in a pistol, because a pistol doesn't have the barrel length to afford the velocity loss to porting.

tl;dr An integrally suppressed pistol is no quieter than a normally suppressed pistol,
