I have now taken things apart and am unaware of how they go back together. This piece seems cylindrical with the only part standing out is this seam. Does it matter what the orientation this has or will the bolt only recombine in the correct placement?

Alright I got done molesting the bolt carrier with lube and got it back together. Over all it is a lot less complicated then I anticipated. Really a simple system when it comes right down to it. I got a day off soon and will be running 200 rounds through it. Hopefully without anything fucking up.

My immediate thoughts though are I want an optic. The flip up is restrictive as hell. I can hardly seen what I'm aiming at. Also a charging handle that is not so 'scrape the flesh off your knuckles' like. Recommendations? Bear in mind I paid $500 for the rifle and don't feel like exceeding it's worth in glitter.

I got a question.
So I have a DD Omega 9" on my AR with a middy FSB.
I want to keep the FSB, but want to step down from the cheese grater quad rail and maybe lighten it up a little bit.
Any suggestions? Or is the FSB AR limited to the quad rail look and will look frankenugly with more modern slim rails?

Hey guys, i just finished my 80% lower and am running into issues.

Seems like either my LPK from PSA is not to spec or (more likely) i made some holes incorrectly.

The issue i am having is that the rear of my trigger is in the way of the selector switch. I can force it in, but that makes the trigger very stiff and removes all "play" from the trigger.

I was hoping i could get a recommendation on what i should do. I was thinking of cutting off a section of the rear end of the trigger.

Only cqbss that's any good is the h27d. But even then the field of view is pretty small.
The March is okay, but the illumination is shit awful, and the reticles leave a lot to be desired in the 1-X optics.

The March and cqbss were great, but they both are old and show it.

March is a player in F class optics. That's their specialty. They make their 1-8 and 1-10 optics essentially as a scaled down 8-80 piece.

They are finicky as fuck with the eye box too. Between that and the reticles, they are not going to be anyone's choice for 'running and gunning'.

A March 3-24 for a DMR setup, with say an offset meds? Whole different beast.

Admittedly it's been a few years but I have looked through Zeiss's low-power variable offerings in the past and they had pretty unforgiving eyeboxes. I have seen through the new Trij and was very underwhelmed with it (although it's a good value because it's ~$400 cheaper than anything else in the "good" category).
