That's not including food water and mags, after that it'll probably be between 35-45. I picked all of the kit specifically on weight. It's the lightest I could find while still performing the same function.

Well dude, who cares what it weights excluding the heaviest items lmao. Your going to have food, water, and ammo. You mean to tell me that your only going to have 10pounds of the three most important items?

3 Liters of water - 6.6lbs
5 Magazines of 556 - 5lbs
3 MREs - 3-4lbs (This is the minimum you'll likely need for 3 days as an avg male who doesn't have a ton of experience with rationing, imagine for normal field use you can expect to eat 2-3 a day, right there is far more than 10 pounds in food alone)


Thats just a conservative estimate aswell. Not including pistol ammo, or any extra items you carry. Im not trying to be a dick or anything, just some critical thoughts ive noticed right off the bat based on personal experience. I'm sure you could get weight down, but to put it in perspective Ive done 5 days with no resupplys and massive movement so weight was a concern of mine. And I got my pack down to 45lbs, and thats like I had 2MRE's for the entire week. No sleeping bag, only a poncho liner. Granted I was carrying a heavier radio with some comm equiptment but that was maybe 5-10 pounds more. So even at 35lbs, and I had the BARE minimums. I mean ZERO comfort items. I challenge you to actually load up the pack exactly as you have it on the list, with everything.. food water batteries, etc. And go out hiking/camping with it. See how you change your kit.

The weight I stated only factors in the ruck, I'm well aware that I can cut down and I likely will. This is a BoB, the darker green marks on the left are my combat load, as you can see it cuts a lot of the crap from the kit.

Would it be to much to ask you to transfer the pics to a laptop or desktop and make a mega file of everything? Do you know how to make a file for sharing cause it;s pretty easy.
You ever use imgur?. I never have but if the retards from reddit can figure it out I'm sure you can and I think it;s easy to upload multiple pics from a cell.

About my TacticPi. I have some microsds and OS, if you need a pdf reader, Okular works fine. For 50$ in amazon you get: raspberryPi 3, 3.5 touch screen, card, case, fan, 5V2A power wire and Heat Sink. Install the OS you want, and the info in usb flash, it's slow but... If i have time, next week will try to do a how-to about it and solve a few problems i had.
