is there anything different on a full auto receiver compared to a commercial lower apart from the "safe semi full" selector markings?

basically, if i have a M16 lower on a commercial upper with a semi trigger group, do i need to register it etc as a machine gun

not my gun in the pic

obviously the trigger group is different.

yes, 3rd hole for the sear and a completely different fire control group

>basically, if i have a M16 lower on a commercial upper with a semi trigger group, do i need to register it etc as a machine gun

yes, if it has a 3rd hole its a machine gun

DO NOT build a automatic lower it EXTREMELY illegal

I'm loving the front sight I got from Shark Inc. I actually like it more than the MBUS Pro I've been using forever. My rifle feels complete-ish now. I just need a different MD to be really happy. LGS has silencerco and griffin stuff, so I may get an MD compatible with one of their lineup.
>>
>>33268338

even though its a hunk of aluminium that just says "safe semi full"?

so if i have a semi automatic trigger group in an M16 lower, the ATF will think i have a machine gun, even though its not mechanically possible for it to fire on full?

Its not that fucking hard to understand.

Unless you are an FFL07/SOT3 holder, you can't have one manufactured later than 1986.

If you live in a state where it is legal for individuals to own, did you pay upwards of 10000 dollars and wait nearly a year for your NFA forms to clear? no? Then its not legal. It also needs to be registered prior to 1986

these situations cover the bases for more than 99 percent of people barring LEO with department issued weapons etc. dumb retard

. I'm thinking of going to two single pistol mag carriers rather than one double. I feel like it'd make my waistline a little more flexible. Having a double pistol and two single rifle carriers really clusters up my left side, and I wind up with my pistol mags in the appendix region, meaning I can't lean over to save my life.

For single action, a Blackhawk is an excellent revolver that should be easy on the wallet too. Old or new is fine. You can get them in black or stainless. They're also a really strong frame. The hardest part is deciding what barrel length you want, if you want something handy or if you want a Big Iron.

It's 6 max in 357, although if you went 44mag you could get a 10.5 inch barrel. I suggest the 357 though, 1 ammo for 2 guns.

Yes.There's a localish joint that makes nice targets, then I'll order online after watching prices and seeing who has free shipping.

That's part of the reason too why I'm going with knockdown targets versus a plate rack. Knockdowns have free shipping and i can get a lot, although I have to set them back up. You can reset a plate rack at distance, but they're heavy as fuck and moving them around takes 2 people. AND shipping has to come LTL Freight because they're over 150lbs(fedex and UPS max weight) and that's like $200 bucks for shipping even with pickup at the freight facility.
I don't mind that for a specialty target like the Irish rack, but fuck that for a plate rack.

Pic is the irish rack.

Went blasting out in the desert yesterday. Come to the conclusion that M193 and M855 are complete and utter fucking shit. Might be good for Fluffy to shove up his ass but that's about all. I already knew this but just reassured it. PMC Bronze and Walmart Perfecta did far better in my testing and were way tighter groupings @ 50 and 100yds.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that ADI w/ Sierra Blitz Kings and Fiocchi Extrema V-MAX are fucking super kick-ass.

In all seriousness, I leave the caps down most of the time, but the rear cap clusters the FOV just a little. The BAD lever is a preference. It makes clearing malfunctions and locking the bolt back simpler and faster.

It would have been the same with a mlok or picatinny
>Yeah but I like shitposting about dickmod
yeah we also got that part
>>
>>33273136
The rail itself was made shittily enough that it fell off the gun

I'm not laughing at keymod as a concept I'm laughing because a keymod rail was made poorly enough to do that. And if the metal was that weak I bet the rail sections would break under stress as well

I quit smoking a little over a week ago, cold turkey. I've actually been doing pretty great. I actually woke up from a nightmare last night thinking I had a cigarette. The only thing that bums me out is that I know I won't be able to have a cigar again.
