sell plasma
you can sell twice a week and a lot of places will pay $50+ per donation to new donors and $30+ after that

I netted $320 selling plasma in my first month
don't do it forever, but it's good for some quick cash

Is there anywhere I can buy a 7.62x39 AK with a 45° gas block and, a triangle stock, and a folding rear trunnion, for that sexy, sexy Khyber Pass look?
>>
>>33233505

Khyber has 'AKM Russian" tubes that are NOS for 30. Am I correct in thinking this will work on a Saiga?

>>33233527
That sounds reasonable. Thanks, have a pretty girl.
>>
>>33233585
Never tried it. I think it would fit but the AK-74 gas tube has the spring that takes the rattle out, you want that. The AKM gas tubes aren't designed to take that spring.

Asking again from a few days back.

Anyone have any pics of AK-74s in the field using RPK 45 round mags? Not RPK-74s with RPK mags or AKS-74Us with RPK mags, but AK-74/AKS-74/AK-74Ms with RPK mags.

I have exactly one pic on my comp of a Ukie with a ribbed 45 rounder in his AKS-74 but that's it, and I'm posting on mobile so I can't even get to it.

Standard Sam7sf stock, rs regulate 302 and rs regulate akmt (just there mro mount), and the can is a form 1 cratus 47 titanium tube from diversified machine with custom titanium internals.
Would have bought a can but too young to buy from dealers so I did a form 1 build that has good stuff instead of those shitty sdta builds.

It pretty good quality parts, as is most Norinco AKs. I don't really enjoy shooting mine though due to how far my finger has to reach while gripping the stock. I can just get the tip on my finger on the trigger, and im really stretching it. I have smaller hands I guess, someone with a bigger hand may not have much problem with it. It also feels to have some trigger slap. As for furniture you're not going to turn this into a standard AK without a ton of modification, so not swapping handguards and stocks. I have seen people use them for valmet lookalike builds before. There are two generations of Norinco Hunters from what I understand. The first gen uses an aperture sight behind the dust cover and has darker furniture, the second generation has this shitty flip sight where a standard AK sight would be. Its got two different notches and you can flip back and forth. One of the notches is off center for some reason. I love the look of it, and I love the idea of it, but really the only reasons I keep it is because the ammo is cheap, I think it's pretty, and I collect Norinco stuff. If you want a chink AK, I would recommend finding a MAK-90, or waiting for a good deal to pop up on one. I got one last week for $675 in great condition.

>>33235899
I'm digging it. The larger objective lense is really nice. It's got a slight tint to it but nothing to bad. I don't really have much to compare it to since it's my first red dot. The dot is crisp and I expect it's pretty indestructible being a trijicon.
I do want to get an aim point eventually to have a reference point and an equally if not more durable red dot.
Plus dat 5 year battery life.

Oh hey while you're here, you know any solid info about zeroing these? I got it on target after a few shots and just chasing it in but I'm wondering if there's solid info on roughly where the turrets should be for each say hundred meters

Can you put a fixed stock on an underfolder?
>>
>>33236147
I wanted one for awhile, and one of the things I read about them is that you can tell them apart by their stock angle. I've never seen anything refuting that and I've held a bunch of underfolders since then, the only one with that angle was Romanian.

It's my first taste of the AK world I was shooting for something practical without over doing it or going tacticool. I do want a more traditional AK74 variant as my next rifle. I definitely want something stamped because my rifle is pretty hefty.

>>i want oc but i'm not gonna make any of my own!!

Some of us do post OC, and have lives outside /AKG/, when we come back from said lives to check up on /AKG/ it's nice to see people posting or discussing something new instead of spamming the same pictures from the last thread as they blogpost about being a bucktoothed WHACK(not a funny meme)retard.

It's funny but I don't remember it that way. I remember those two threads with actual OC in them. Sure they didn't max out the image limit in 10 hours, but is that a requirement for a general?

I have been watching SGammo's website since it went live and the lowest I have seen the ticket get is 7 and it always rebounds to around 20-24. If its not just going up and down randomly but meaning sales they are at or around a few hundred cases sold as it is by my estimate.

If it goes another few weeks with out going OOS I will be convinced.

Shoot Alex at russiansurplus.net an email and see if he's got one laying around.
Beyond that, a WTB on the Files is probably your only option at finding just the strap.

You could just buy another, and sell the strapfree one to someone with an underfolder.

the dude I got it from, I've seen a few of his builds, he did a nice job on the rivets, and the receiver was a prefab from nodak.

it's nice, need some paint in some spots on the barrel because whoever painted it used something sketch. But other than that it dry functions great. I'll shoot it probably this weekend.

The way I saw it explained that makes the most sense is that none of this shit comes in at anything less than a cargo container's worth because otherwise it isn't worth the venture. He's had to add an entire second warehouse to his facility to keep his inventory.

There's plenty of ammo for all of us.

no just love the 90 degree block and the 7.62 caliber, plus i want to convert it, and buying a SLR would be a little spendy, as I am a college student without a job
>>
>>33240574
Just get one of the new SLRs, the fixed stock 107s. 90 degree block and you don't have to worry about the actual act of converting it.
>>
>>33240506
Go shoot the ammo in one of your cans, duh.
>>
>>33240518

Academy has their cans on sale so I'm going to pick up a few on the way home and I'll start doing that.

>>33240606

Shooting makes me want to buy more ammo so that's really not solving the problem.
>>
>>33240700
Weird, they haven't had their cans on sale locally for a while for me. Last time they did they were like $12.99 for a .50 can, which is better than normal but not as good as their $9.99 cans they do every once in a while.

I'm still hoping they do an unlisted sale on their Fat .50s like they did last year for $14.99.

I'm genuinely considering selling some stuff to buy an SVD, not sure if I want a TIGR or NDM. I've got some guns sitting around that I can afford to let go of and get around $4000 for them, then some other crap I've collected over the years like instruments and tools and stuff for another couple thousand dollars.

Talk me out of it. I want one but dropping thousands on a single gun just because it's cool seems silly. But I want one.
>>
>>33241346
Buy a .308 vepr or saiga instead.
>>
>>33241346
Do it
>>
>>33241363
I already had a .308 Saiga and got rid of it because it wasn't an SVD no matter how hard I tried to pretend it was, and I'm sure I'd do the same thing if I picked up a 7.62x54r Vepr or PSL or something. They're close but just not the same.
>>
>>33241363

Bent them first over the edge of a table or something. then cut them to size

Thanks btw. Been hoping to catch you to pick your brain since you first did them.

I replied to your email. I'm bringing a few hundred rounds of 5.45 even though I'm not bringing my saiga so that's up for grabs to share with whoever may want to shoot some. Also, do you have a makarov? I've had a box of 9x18 for no reason for like a year and I'd love to try one out.

Thanks for the heads up. Gunthings always has some neat stuff. I'm wanting to keep my Imbel kit pretty much true to the normal configuration but I definitely want to do an 18in barrel para build some day. I wish it was next year so I'd actually have money to buy all the neat things I want.
