I want to replace my mft minimalist stock now that I've had some time to familiarize myself with my rifle. I've been considering the f93, UBR (NO, ORANGECAT) or b5, leaning heavily towards f93, UBR of I am unable to find a reasonably affordable example that isn't airshit tier. Do you have any recommends? So, I have pic related in jail for another 6+ months (maybe I bought myself a Christmas present?).

I bought it for a 9mm pistol but it will work with 300 subsonic. I've got a start on a reloading setup already. So, I think this is the perfect opportunity to build a 300memeout AR.

Does anyone know a manufacturer for a stripped lower that will engrave my trust name before the finishing process? (so the trust name can look exactly like the roll mark). I’m going to form 1 the lower right away then build it as Gucci as I can over the next 6 months (getting the 9"ish barrel after form 1 is returned).

I'd be happy to have any other advice. In exchange I promise not to post update pics, or 'look at my sweet parts, I'll finish next week I swear'.

The reason I wouldn't spend the extra money on an LMT vs a b5 is because while I acknowledge that it is well designed, I simply do not care for how it looks, so I am less willing to spend more money on it. I'm averaging just at the 2MOA point as well with the IMI M193 through a 416R Odin Ultralight as well as a 4150CMV melonite Faxon SOCOM. 2MOA for 193 is great in my book. Of course, these groups are bench shot with sand bags and 1-4 optics.

180 is less than 240. I would consider 180 an acceptable price, but I am considering the f93 before I purchase a UBR. Also trying to take into consideration the incoming gen 2 may be marked lower, or make the previous generations value decrease. This is why I was asking Burt how he felt about the f93 in the first place.

I think they aren't rated for .300 supersonic because of the three piece aluminum construction, which is kinda worrying to me because most tube suppressors are. That's just my dumb opinion.

You could get a custom engraving of your manufacturers info from the likes of York Arms or Orion arms. I believe both of them do it before anodizing. Ident or anyone else can do engraving on a stripped lower, which you could then send out to be anodized.

I recommend having it done inside the top of the trigger area if you want it out of the way.

Also if you don't plan to sell the gun as an SBR, you don't have to engrave it. Supposedly. I took mine off.

That looks like a three prong flash hider/suppressor quick mount. I read that you don't want to use crush washers for a suppressor quick mount.

Just get a couple of shims, and try to get it indexed around 12-o-clock or so at around 20-40 ft-lbs.

If it's not a suppressor quick mount, just get a crush washer and crank that shit till one of the prongs is at noon.

Pro-tip, a crush washer can be crushed at least 360 degrees.
