The regular spring retention mechanism is flimsy as fuck. It wears loose after not very long, I had two of them.

The ADM QD system is hugely superior, and stubby is more comfortable for thumb break than the budget chicken choker model this kid espouses.

TD QD is solid as FUCK, and can be adjusted to be tight on any rail. The spring retention mechanism is not very solid, and after it's installed and removed a couple of times it gets squishy squishy.

I doubt that. It's probably just like they've said, they have enough production capacity to meet their contract (this is a huge deal) and any overruns get made into complete uppers or full rifles, which probably net them a larger margin than just the rail.

DD can literally farm out upper receivers, charging handles, and BCGs, laser engrave their logo and mark them up 200-500%. It's just smart business to do that than sell a product made strictly in house with their own labor.

This is why Dead Air is my jam. They put wrench flats in FRONT of the suppressor mounting surface, so the muzzle device doesn't have to add more length than necessary.

I've done it before, it's fun. feel like operator.

only thing i recommend is you to have good backer and adjust your target. cardboard get floppy after awhile, it took over hour for cardboard to actually soak floppy. I would use plastic lid for those big plastic storage container just go to dollar store and buy lids. glue your paper on lid with e5000 glue ensure you get corners and center area glued on good. you could spray paint bright contrasting color on the plastic with cutout for crisp paint instead of having edge that fade out.

cardboard held out surprisingly fine for my use but tape gave out when wet. glue on paper with e5000 glue is best.

I'm looking to get a possible Del-Ton upper for my AR but i cannot find any reviews on the company as a whole. Most i find are on the complete ARs and even then they dont seem as much like a review as much as a recorded entry on shooting the gun.
Do any of you anons have a Del-Ton? How does it hold up? Is it worth the $200 I will save over just hamming out the cash for a BCM or something else?

Well I've had a MOE, like the angle alright but too slick. Went to an A2 because "lol I want basic bitch". Knowing it'll never be an M4gery with a middy gas I said "fuck it, let's change it up. Got the Bravo stock and figured why not get the P grip since it "matches".

I like the angle of it, it pretty much forces you to not chicken wing. The size is good and helps with my tore up wrist that the A2 exacerbated. But it's slick so it slides in my palm real easy when handling the rifle even with gloves. Actually I think it might be worse in gloves. And at the top where it meets the rifle its small/ narrow, like I don't want to choke up on it, I'm finding I grip it about half way down the grip instead of gripping it deep in the web of my hand.

Most budget builds here are based off of PSA, the Deltons I've seen in person aren't bad but they're not great either. And when I started shopping Delton was always out of stock or in stock but not for the right stuff.

A tornado was never confirm but it had to be. I've been in one before and this sounded just like it. My girl is also weather watcher and said she thinks it was too. Sustained wind that sounded like a freight train for about 10mins. Of course the noise made when the cables for the service was ripped out had me thinking the house was coming apart.
