From what I've seen a lot of people regard those with a certain level of caution as well. The most recent one I saw for sale was a couple years ago and it went for like $20,000 or so. Reading the forum threads about it, a lot of people sounded hesitant about its legitimacy.

If it wasn't imported legally then it's not legal to own. Whether or not you get busted is another thing. If the ATF actually cracked down on someone in the US for bringing things like parts kits in illegally then I wouldn't see it as impossible that they would go after his customers as well. Probably not to arrest, but to confiscate. It would probably depend on if they wanted to make a statement or not.

Yes, the angle is different, the 5.5mm has a more vertical end, closer to 90° to the top of the receiver. If you did what you're saying then it would work but the stock angle would be fucked up and if you folded it the latch wouldn't line up.

There is even a 5.5mm to 4.5mm adapter, but once again if you use it then the angles and latch will be off.

Be warned if you get the Obzor, you'll have to use a chin weld which some people find uncomfortable. The PKA sits low, and I believe allows for cowitness if you're a fag and into that sort of thing
