Ever shot a .338 Lapua? I had the chance at a range last week to shoot a Savage and holy fuck did it have a hair trigger. One of those 2 stage safety disengaging ones. I got startled with how light it was, then the biggest child like grin for a long time after!

I have an Ithaca .22 from my late grandfather that is designed to look like a lever action but is actually just a top ejecting single shot. There is a off-color blotch on the barrel bluing which he told me was from cat piss when he was still alive. I also have a very unreliable M1 carbine that was his. He had several other guns that my grandmother is still holding onto. Particularly an Auto 5 in good shape, a browning challenger in good shape, and a S&W revolver in .45 ACP that can function without moon clips, which is cool.

Just came back from a small /k/ meetup. Finally got my 104fr/Obzor zeroed perfectly and I was ringing a 6 inch steel plate at 200m repeatedly. Also found out that POA/POI are the roughly the same at 50m and 200m with a 50m zero on the Obzor, at least enough for me to hit the steel. It was my first time shooting past 100m, lots of fun

I actually have bought the m214 tactical ak-47 from IO. It was really cheap at a local gun shop and I thought what the hell. I've never had any issues with it. Threading the barrel is the bubba way of doing it imho. Replacing the FSB would require sourcing a proper one and actually doing it which can take some time and money. However, Id say its worth it.

Not sure. And nobody can honestly give you an answer to that. Keep in mind they didn't just stop using mold 37 when mold 38 replaced it. Lower numbers tend to be older but even that correlation isn't very strong.

Consider G-Code's Scorpion shingles as well. They occasionally go on sale for $20 each and are basically a modified Taco design. It's a few bucks extra for the MOLLE rigging on the back since G-Code deals primarily in belt mount stuff, and you'll probably end up waiting a bit to get yours, but it'll be even cheaper that way.
