I went into it knowing full well that it wasn't going to be anything monumental and just a lot of good gunplay and action, and with that mentality I was satisfied. I like Keanu as a person and the movie is good if you treat it for what it is. Not every movie will be or has to be some revolutionary, blow-you-away feature. Sometimes I just want to see a bunch of action and not have to contort my brain to figure out some convoluted plot.

I unironically agree shes the best character, but specifically because shes NOT an operator. Every other character in the franchise either was already an operator or has become one as time went on (like how Leon went from completely inexperienced traffic cop to top secret service/not-CIA agent in all of America), but Clair just went from biker student who knew how to use a gun to mature NGO executive who knows how to use a gun. Shes the most grounded and relatable character.

She's great, yeah. RE2 was my first Resident Evil experience, and I loved that Claire literally just rode into town on a bike and had to engage badass mode. That being said, I still like Jill better overall. I immediately played 1 after 2, and while that didn't entirely sell me on her, when 3 came out she quickly became my favorite. Then REmake, and the rest is history. But Revelations 2 was an awesome game and I'm glad Claire got some more screentime.

Spends the next year working in garbage disposal (where they accidentally cause a neighboring sun to go nova by using a mass driver to launch millions of tons of disposable syrofoam trays into it to solve a garbage crisis) eventually he's recaptured and spared the death sentence for desertion because the entire city is technically a military base on account of the war so he never actually abandoned his posting, and gets a prison term for sleeping on the duty (because he had to sleep at least once), after a stint in the klink he gets sent to vietnam planet where he says fuck this, and blows his foot off to get shipped out.
