Went with a Wilson Combat NP3 BCG instead of the cryptic. It seems more personal preference but I like that teflon is present throughout the coating so it'll function well despite wearing down. The cryptics look cool though.

Just added the S3G, with the 4lb spring. Nice and crisp single stage, with a pretty short reset. Feels like a good bolt gun trigger, I'm impressed.

Went with a regular BCM roll mark. Put in a Geissele SSA trigger and JP Silent Captured spring though. I liked the look and I grew up 20 minutes from BCM's headquarters in Wisconsin so having my state on the side as its manufacturing origin is pretty neat to me

Hey guys, was just wondering what the general opinion on the Savage MSR Patrol and Recon are. I'm looking at a first AR and liked the one I've used before that my friend has. Any notably better manufacturers between 650-850?
