There are quirks and quality differences obviously but barrel twist ties to bullet weight pretty heavily.

It's unusual to see say a 1:7 barrel that prefers 55 grain or a 1:9 barrel that likes 77 grain.

I had a brush but no jag for patches. I wrapped a bit of paper-towel around the brush and gave it one pass to get enough out to make it safe. I wasn't really shooting for group, just breaking the barrel in and seeing which loads looked the most promising.

They are suppressor height night sights that are nearly exactly the same that the gun comes with originally, except they have tritium inserts.

Honestly, I don't...Really like them. I like the tritium, I like the fact that they are suppressor sights, but god damn it, I really prefered the fixed sights I had on my Custom Sport.

I still have them though, one day I might just swap them...Fixed sights are the best my man.

I had thought of getting a USP milled, but from what I hear, it can be a nightmare. They just don't have anywhere good for the job to be done.
And I agree about the newer HKS sights. The regular USP sights are easy to pick up. The match/target sights are easy to lose because of the lack of dots.

Cool. I had an operator champion, but traded it for a Sig GSR because 8t kept having malfunctions on the range even after sending it back on warranty to Springfield. I'm sure a lot of the issue was it being a commander size, but still, I wanted a 1911 that worked.
I will say the finish on operators is a lot nicer than most 1911s.
