You should lurk for a year before posting such a retarded thread with a ridiculously broad question.
Or Google it. Whatever. Go fuck yourself.
A good place to start would be with the sticky.

read the sticky so I don't have to type out anything you can read in it, it has lots of useful basic information

>Steam has a game called World of Guns that shows you a lot of guns and how they work, etc.
>Googling a lot of things can help.
>Reddit has great subreddit called r/guns, check the FAQ.

I'll actually give you a real answer.
The easiest way is with either a hasgunz friend, or a decent bit of money. Unfortunately, the gun-owning community is a little wary of outsiders. By its very nature they need to be, but that makes it difficult for a newbie with no connections to just jump right in.
First, get the theoretical knowledge down. You can get a good basic grounding in firearm types and functions in an hour or two. Keep lurking here, and look up any terms you don't know. When someone introduces a firearm you're curious about, look up a video on Youtube of its function. Read the basics on Wikipedia. Start with these sections:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handgun#Types_of_handguns
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shotgun#Action
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rifle#Types_of_rifle
Also, watch youtube videos of how the different actions work, like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqZsSk5FFX4
That's the easy part. As for actually getting your hands on a firearm and getting into the community, the best possible way is a friend or family member with guns. Offer to pay for ammunition if they take you out shooting. Get used to shooting, and learn the fundamentals. This is how 99.999999% of gun owners start.
If you're in a liberal area or don't know any hasgunz, the next best option requires some money. Go to a range, and pay for an hour of instruction and gun rental. Tell them up front you know nothing about guns, but are eager to learn. It'll probably cost you a little shy of $100, including all the ammo purchases and such. Be respectful, and do exactly as the instructor says.
If neither of those things are available to you, you have to learn on your own and it sucks. Go to any gun or outdoor store--hell, even Walmart, and get the cheapest .22 rifle they have. You'll have to go to a gun store to find the ammunition. Buy as much as they'll let you. Watch a shit ton of Youtube videos about technique, and just try it out.
