I said the Obzor is a shit optic for $500, people disagree, then I managed to snag one for $100 and now people are simultaneously acting like I did a 180 and believe it's the best optic ever now and that I think it's literally the worst optic ever invented.

I see the Obzor as the RU equivalent of the RX06: it's ridiculously overpriced and the technology is outdated but for the right price they're a fine optic. However, at the price people pay for them on the regular, you'd be better off buying any number of comparably better Slavic or NATO-style red dots from the Rakurs to an Aimpoint.

This could be it too. I had a similar experience (I'm not the Finnish guy fyi) in college. I downed almost a full 1l of cheap shitty vodka, blacked out about half way through, and they made me get different roommates the next semester because I guess I did something?
