I haven't filed for anything as of yet. I'm gonna wait and see for now in regards to the HPA/NFA stuff. If it looks like trump is definitely not going to change things, I'll probably file for a suppressor, if anything.

After doing the math:
PSA 16" 223 wylde 1/8 upper - $549
PSA STR lower- $180
MBUS Pros- $160
J-Comp- $30
And I'm gonna throw in a D&H mag.
Comes out around $930
The primary arms scope was $270-ish
the ADM recon mount was ~$196

That puts the whole gun at about $1400.
I want to say asking 1300 would be fair.

I may just put my ACS-L on it since it's never been painted

Originally, it was so that if you were wearing gloves, you could remove it. It's kind of a carryover from those days. Most people just get a magpul/BCM/ whoever enhanced trigger guard.

>>32320325
Sure looks like it. I'd get one of it was about $20 cheaper. I really like it having storage at the rear rather than the front.

Posted this last thread but I'll post it again. Just bought pic related and am about to be a first time AR owner. I don't really have a fuckton of tools so I'm just going to buy a complete upper.

What would be the advantages of spending a little more and getting something like this?

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/718635/colt-ar-15-a3-upper-receiver-assembly-556x45mm-nato-16-barrel-flip-up-rear-sight

It's got a lot of the features I've heard are good: chrome lined barrel, mil spec standards, m4 feed ramp, and it comes with a flip up sight on top of that.

Could i get these features for cheaper? should I? am I just being memed for the colt name here?

10/10 digits.

The thing is the Colt circlejerk is really all about prebuilt purity, the pony rollmark, the fit/finish/testing, and resale value. So individual Colt parts while excellent quality are kind of just burning money for no reason.

These things:
>chrome lined barrel, mil spec standards, m4 feed ramp, and it comes with a flip up sight on top of that.
aren't really special at all and you can get that for way way cheaper.
>>
>>32322556
Everything Colt makes for civilians is garbage. In fact the stuff they make for the military is garbage as well since they recently lost their contracts because of it.

Bushmaster, Colt, S&P, Rugar, Springfield, are all garbage. People with buyers remorse will try to get you to waste your money on their products because its not enough that they should fail, everyone else must also fail.

The strike eagle is nice, honestly. For the money it's probably the best thing I've seen under $500, maybe even more.

Another option I've considered is a fixed magnification optic. One requirement I have is illuminated reticle, which the Strike Eagle has, but the scope is big and 6x may be overkill. Any thoughts on something like the Spitfire 3x?

But mexican work truck just ain't care.

Why would anyone want a .308 PDW

How effective is .308 out of a short barrel? I would think it would be way too heavy and slow without enough time to get a full burn.

Spicy chicken tray, double onion rings, cheerwine.

And a chocolate cherry shake.

Also that Cookout looks familiar. You in Jacksonville?

Better than 5.56 out of the same length barrel, but yeah there's better options considering its considerable recoil. Mass counts for quite a bit.

Also, like with 5.56, dont expect military ball to perform all that well but bonded softpoints still do fine.
