I would prefer to have irons available, but honestly, I think I would prefer an AK-101 in that setup rather than an L85A2. 8.4lb empty for the L85A2, and 7.9lb for the AK-101 unloaded (before being modified to be bullpup which I imagine would lighten it further)? Granted, the L85A2 has a longer barrel, so would probably be a little more accurate, but at least I wouldn't have to worry about malfunctions as much. Ideally though, I'd get an AK-74M altered like that; I prefer 5.45 over 5.56.

That setup really is God-tier though; at first glance, it truly does look like an L85, until you check the upper half of the receiver area. Hopefully the trigger isn't absolute dogshit though; I hear triggers on AKs converted to bullpup are utterly shit-tier. Like, possibly sounding even WORSE than Mosin triggers. Really squishy and creepy and with a terrible break and all that kind of stuff.

Judging by the cocking piece, the safety, and the slot in the receiver where the bolt should close, it looked to be a P14 bolt. Doesn't seem long enough for M1917 I don't think. it also kind of looks like the bolt is lined up with the GAS TUBE rather than the BARREL, but perhaps that's just me not seeing it right? I don't fucking know what's going on with that thing... but .303 British uses the same bullet diameter as Russian 7.62 cal firearms I think. .312 or something like that, not .308 like .30-06 or 7.62 Nato. So as long as the barrel can take the pressure, an AKM barrel could possibly be used to take .303... maybe. So is that a .303 AK? Probably hasn't been rechambered, probably still in 7.62x39, no? Any thoughts?
