See this shitty $15 block here that you say will shatter receivers?

I used it to install a URX 4 about five times. According to written and Youtube instructions from KAC, I was putting 110-130 foot pounds of force on this, I was quite scared. That is WAY more force than a normal barrel nut requires.

The receiver survived this FIVE TIMES. The block deformed slightly. I don't even have marks on my receiver from this terrifying, ridiculous amount of torque.

Sorry to be a cunt, but no I'm not wrong. I'm absolutely, unequivocally correct and am supported by hard physical evidence.

I just picked up my Black Creek Precision Glock lower today. It's not even out yet but i managed to get one of the first 50 made before the official first run.

It went together easy until i went to put the grip on. The bolt started to get really tight about half way in. So im going to go buy a tap and chase the threads, other than that i didnt have any problems.

I shot my 9mm upper on a 5.56 lower by feeding the shells in one at a time. 9mm don't have as much recoil as 5.56 in my opinion. Now that i have a lower that can feed from a magazine im going to take it out and rapid fire it and see how it feels this weekend.

Is Stag actually a good manufacturer of are they secretly shit tier?

I want an AR before the election, and while I'd rather build my own, I can't get a lower because I'm 18 and my dad keeps dragging his feet on buying it and doing a transfer, so I need to buy a pre built rifle if I'm going to get one. I'm looking at Stag because I've always heard good things about them, and I want a 20" barrel and full stock so my options are seemingly limited to Stag, Colt and Del-ton, so Stag is starting to look pretty good.

I've spent the past month or so shopping for a muzzle device for my build.

Decent amount of research and youtube videos, plus a phone call to SLR.

The Synergy was at the top of my list for a flash/comp muzzle device. I ended up opting for the VG6 simply because it is a hair shorter, and I want a Griffin Armament Blast Shield eventually, but they're both very similar muzzle devices.

Pictured is a J-Comp that I've put about 1k rounds through. It works.

Does anybody have any experience with American Defense receivers? I'm looking for a receiver with an ambi bolt release which doesn't rely on a proprietary bcg. This one has a right side release which is a lever you lift up, which seems more intuitive and ergonomic than having a second lever you press.

Is this a good choice?

Daytona Tactical doesn't have very good tolerances though. I had an upper/lower combo of theirs before I sold it that had quite a bit of slop. Damn thing shook more than Fukashima.

meh, i would prefer it if it was mainly for weight savings. I was just going to use a standard 5.56 lower i had laying around and colt mags. But i have so many glock mags laying around i thought it would be smarter to use them. And since no one makes a glock mag block i bought a new lower.

Not bashing qc10 because i know they make pretty decent stuff. But i do no like the look of billet lowers and i have heard people bitch about qc10 bolt hold open not work. BCP was $200 and it's forged it is a little heavy though which i dont like.
