I dunno if anyone remembers, but a couple days ago I was at my LGS,and asked which spikes rollmark to go with. I went with the badger!

What's the general sight in range for an AR, assuming I'll be using a random hodgepodge of ammo randing from 55-70gr bullets, generally all MFJ?

Like, you can do 25 yards to be sighted in at 200 yards, what the equivalent for 100 yards?

I guess it's a 2 part question.

My M&P 15-22 isn't very reliable during rapid fire, it can fire fine at a relaxed pace, but I can't sit there and mag dump without it having problems. I changed out from remington .22 ammo (because it was very waxy) and that helped a little, but not completely. Why must the weapon system be so fragile?

Serious answer. I had a bad back injury that left me in bed for most of a year. It comes from eating and doing absolutely nothing. A 30 to 50 minute walk most nights and eating more vegetables than potatoes and noodles clears up most people's weight issues in 6 to 9 months if they just stick with it

With standard 55gr FMJ and a 16" barrel, a 25 meter zero will closely approximate a 300 meter zero and be "combat accurate" out to around 375 with no holdover.

Alternatively there's the 50/200, which gives less vertical difference between 50 and 200 than the 25/300, but you get into holdover-is-required territory at about 250m.

Hey anons, primary arms 1-6 or strike eagle?

My concern is reticle visibility in daylight and durability.

I considered getting something from trijicon, but I dont like the reticles for the accupoints, and the eye relief for the acog was shit from what i remember, although i did like the reticle.

I also considered a magnifier for my t2, but I still want a reticle that i can use for ranging, and also i dont like having to flip the magnifier in order to use the 1x.

Still would like some opinions other than kys. Or should I wait till evening for the namefags to come on?

I'm probably going to sell it off. Including the other ammo I have, I have >$500 worth of .22LR if I sell at a discount. If I can get $300 for the gun, I can go out and buy a really nice benelli supernova or another AK and a box of ammo. If I sell my Winchester Model 12, I could just go down and buy a supernova with that money and have the rest left over for another AK and ammo or an emergency fund.

Or I could sell the M&P, the ammo, the Winchester, and buy a nicely built AR, but honestly I have a theme with the rest of my arsenal being AK based, so an underfolder or some other wasr might be my first choice. That or get an Arsenal, but I kind of want a shotgun too.

Maybe just sell the M&P and winchester, buy the supernova, and keep the rest for an emergency fund. I just bought a new cc pistol and I can't justify buying too many guns in a short span of time.
