I would like to remind you that the reason guns are so fine and dandy to have/carry, while several states and municipalities in the US restrict the carry of knives, if because they are quieter, leave behind little to no forensic evidence as to what knife was used, etc. As opposed to what calibre was used, what gun it was, who bought that gun recently, who reported that gun/calibre stolen, etc.

I can carry a gun in the City of the Derp Class, Sillydelphia. If I carry a knife without proving it's for a job, I'll spend a night in jail and be fined.

Knives have their place in the world of weaponry. A very unlikely niche that is rarely fulfilled because it's easier as both an attempt on someone's life and on the murderers' conscience because it's far easier to just pull a fucking trigger.

Death Adder by Down Under Knives

the first I bought came to me with a badly rolled point.
at first I planned to just resharpen it and send a reproachful email to the outfit I bought it from, but it sharpened way too easy to be normal.
I pressed the edge near the tip edge to edge against a cheap paring knife, and the dagger was the one that took a tiny nick.
so I got in contact with Down Under Knives and told them the blade was too soft. they had me send it in for testing where they determined there was something wrong with the heat treat, and they sent me back those two.
I'm not as abusive on them as I am the Bark River, but I've used them enough to know both of their blades are fine.

I would love to, but every time I look Micros up on eBay, I'm lucky to find even a clone for sale, so where? Also, Yojimbo 2 is my favorite folder. I love my BM Barrage, CS Talwar and ZT 0452cf as well. Lot of people think I'm stupid for spending so much on knives, but I pity them because they'll never know what a pleasure it is to own high quality folders. Not a knife collector, but I just bought this bad boy at a yard sale on Saturday

Soviet Spetsnaz Brass Antimagnetic Divers Knife, with heavy brass sheath and leather strap and intact clip. Its made of brass as to not attract magnetic mines.

Got it for $50, and could easily sell for $300+

The guy I bought it from served in the military as an expert of the USSR. I also bought a Soviet Armed Forces PT Shirt and a set of Cosmonaut pins for $1 each

The SPEW was small and $30 and the least retarded looking small fixed blade at Bass Pro so I bought it. Works fine. I'm not really a knoife collector though, it's a bunch of random shit I have somehow accrued over ~15 years.

Pikal knives tend to be curved like hawkbills or look like reverse tantos or wharncliffes, not really the dagger shape that's associated with a dirk.
