Finally had some free time. Here's what I've been thinking. I have a few different layout possibilities sketched on the top; I'm leaning towards the far right (shield shape, text atop) so that's what I chose to draw in color.

I can't find my good colored pencils in this new apartment so I'm drawing with a Crayola 12-pack from CVS, and on top of that my scanner is one that I picked up off the side of the road, so the colors are a bit fucked.
The background is meant to be a desert tan.
The balaclava is meant to be a fairly dark olive drab.
The merrow and lettering are meant to be a very dark brown (like on Opsec's x54r patch).
The T shape is red, not too bright but not too dark.
I'm not sure what to do with the eyes and mouth.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Any interest? I know that my drawing skills are shit, but does anybody like the concept?

Man I can't wait to get a better laser-cutter. I have to struggle and fight with this piece of shit Chinese thing.

I got my bulk shipment of velcro which is going to save me a lot of money compared to literally going to Wal-Mart to buy packs of Velcro brand Velcro.

I was attaching the velcro to the board for engraving and cutting so that it would cut out completed with the velcro already attached. But my laser-cutter could barely cut wood half the time so the extra bit of velcro gave me such a headache. I ruined a couple batches because the cuts weren't deep enough and doing a second pass caused them to burst into flames.

The solution I came up is to run the patches normally, cut them out and than take raw velcro and put it into the machine and laser-cut the exact shape I need.

It's not as precise as my original intention because the plastic curls and burns a bit but it's better than measuring out pieces of Velcro-Brand-Velcro and cutting them to size by hand.
