"What is it like to fire an AR-15? It’s horrifying, menacing and very very loud.

It felt to me like a bazooka β€” and sounded like a cannon.

But mostly, I was just terrified.

Squeeze lightly on the trigger and the resulting explosion of firepower is humbling and deafening (even with ear protection).

The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions β€” loud like a bomb β€” gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable."

10/10 on the battle buddy scale, he's my best good friend.

The AR's are pretty good too, Carbine is good for carbine stuff, rifle is a prairie dog destroyer.

Had a 12/10 golden I knew since I was 12 that I had to put down this spring. She was THE battle buddy. Everything I learned I learned with her. I became a man with that dog by my side, so I'm going to follow this up with a picture of her because it'd be disrespectful not to, she was great.

They're actually surprisingly decent. Certainly no Wiha but they're def. better than my Starretts

Speaking of, I think I should get a set of Wiha torx drivers. I've got a bargain-bin set since I rarely mess with Torx but that's gonna be changing soon.
>>
>>31564299
Yeah, CA here.. I'd move if I could.. It just ins't feasible though due to work/school/family. The laws are horrid though and getting worse by the day.

As for the bullet button, it was very annoying at first. After going around and talking to some people they suggested I purchase a bullet button magnet. It works seamlessly!

Nice, 714 here! Just went down to SD to some breweries. SD is great!

As for a law coming up, if I understand it correctly, we will need to bring our guns into a gun shop and have them registered to the feds, if we do not then we will be considered felons? I might be way off, but that's what I recall.

i think since you got it before the new year youre good. the new bullet button technically makes it a fixed mag and technically forces you to "take the gun apart"
>>
>>31564445
Yea, the LMT was the original SOPMOD stock that had the original SOCOM contract.
The B5 copies it in pretty much every way, and some argue that it's a better stock.
From what I've heard, the B5 is also currently being used in the military.
I have 3 B5's and would recommend them for pretty much any kind of build

Old puppers
Sad fact: these are part great pyrenees and part Karakachan puppies. When we wormed them, our vet gave us a recommendation to use Ivomectin, which certain breeds, especially the karakachan, are extremely sensitive to. The result was 7 of our 12 puppies dying over night after taking the medicine. :<

If you want to breed your dogs, fine. If you just want a pet, get it fixed. It lowers their chance of health problems if you keep them on a proper diet.

Look, you might take care of those puppies or find forever homes for them. The truth is most people won't. They'll end up at adoption centers and animal shelters because people will dump them or can't take care of them or just don't even want them.

Neutering too young has a shit load of shit side effects.
Development of certain cancers is one.

Best time to neuter a dog is right after its fully matured and grown.
Some breeds would be "ripe" after a year and others up to 2 years.
>>
>>31567939
Looks like the beginning of one, it needs a fixed stock then it's featureless. The muzzle device is a bit of a gray area bc the barrel is still threaded

That's not the whole point actually there's a few other reasons to neuter.
Control your dog for a couple years retard.
Fixing too early can also stunt growth, physically and mentally.
Dogs need their hormones in balance to mature properly.

You're willing to jealously guard your pupper's virginity for upwards of a two years before surgically removing their bits. Puppers typically live 11-12 years with some outliers. You're already doing it for between a tenth and a fifth of their expected life.

At that point, just keep on keeping your dog from getting laid and let he/she keep his/her parts.

by bench gun yeah I mean just sitting at a bench or laying with a bipod or rest - just a target gun. best guns for that are typically 18" or 20" barrels. they usually end up a bit unwieldy for HD use or humping through the woods with, but they can be used for that.

16" is most popular, and is certainly capable of shooting decent groups, you can also do 14.5" but technically you're supposed to pin and weld the muzzle device on to keep it at the required 16" barrel without it being a pistol or SBR. 16" and below is obviously lighter, more maneuverable than 18"+

you can def get a decent free float 16" AR for around $700, just watch for sales/deals. do you have any of the AR building tools listed in >>31567962

avoid radical. Also 300 blackout is a lot more expensive than 5.56/.223 if you aren't reloading
>>
Considering a bolt action upper instead of a dedicated scout rifle someday.

Question is caliber, I can reload, I really just want to have something that I can shoot small groups with, and is relatively resistant to things like cross wind. If its flat shooting, thats a plus. A good hunting caliber. Thinking 30-06?
>>
>>31568178
Nashville's actually got a pretty good variety. You can get the east coast vinegar, you can get Texas beef bbq, you can get Korean ""beef"" bbq, Gulf Coast mystery-meat bbq, KC ribs, STL ribs, etc. They won't be best-in-class but most of them are pretty good.

Best bbq I've ever had was actually just outside of Biloxi. And yeah, it was a shirtless old black man on the side of a county road with a trailer smoker set up in a farmer's market.

It's the main reason by a large margin, and outside of people dedicated to veterinary medicine or animal husbandry the only reason most people know of.

Neutering a male dog can tone down hormonal aggression, but isn't required. There are damn few and pretty small benefits to neutering a female dog outside of preventing unwanted puppies, yet doing it wrong/early can fuck over the dog for life.

Sounds like you want a 6mm or 6.5mm. Absolutely nothing wrong with a good ol' .243, it does all of those while being capable of 1200yds with 105gr VLD's or 115gr DTACs (which can also be loaded to 7.62 Pmag mag length).

.300blk is a reloader's dream, you can do everything from ~85gr bullets at near-5.56 velocities up through some guys pushing close to 300gr cast FN through AR's (look up Dolomite_Supafly on 300blktalk forums).

Unless you are willing to shoot cast bullets (either DIY or commercial cast), even reloading subs can be kinda expensive. Jacketed 190gr+ .30cal bullets start at about 23 cents per.

That bipod is attached to a separate handguard that he just has sitting below the rifle. The scope is a variable power optic which means that it can magnify from 1x to 6x power.

If you want a boltgun AR upper the sky's the limit, and they can be extremely accurate.

However for the money you're probably better off with a mid-tier hunting rifle assuming you wanna stick with the "scout rifle" usage (light, handy, accurate-enough-for-hunting, short, irons+optic) as the majority of AR uppers with bolts are gonna have long heavy barrels and cost a grand+.

Don't skimp on barrel or trigger. Those and the BCG are what make a good rifle. A PSA premium BCG is fine and those are around $80. Look into barrel profiles and coating because those can cause the price of a barrel to vary drastically. For triggers lots of people here like the Larue MBT or the Geisseele SSA-E.

A 40lb bag of good dog food is like $25, shots aren't that bad since they aren't done often, and anything else is little things like a new toy now and then. I spent more on reloading supplies in the past week alone than I have on my dog in 6 months.

Even total poorfags can afford to keep an animal without it making a real difference on their financials.

Yeah. I wouldn't have sold an arsenal, but this is a cheap american AK (not that cheap)
I am debating on just keeping it, in all honestly I would prob see more of a return if I waited until after the empress is elected

There's a couple decent low-power variables in the $300 range, which is gonna be cheaper than any of the quality red dots or holographics.

They're my step dad's dogs. He just chalked it up to a learning experience and never went back to that vet. He's an old family friend, and mistakes like that happen unfortunately. I can understand not wanting to ruin a personal relationship over that, but I do wish some sort of action had been taken. >>31569004
Righteous. I'm actually in Madison. Just moved out of Decatur after living there most of my life. Finally out of college with a big boy job.
