Why don't leos just use their handguns for shotgun situations? If they need a precision rifle for gun battles they already have their AR style select fire rifles in their cars anyway (a C8 carbine in the case of Canada). Do leos want to play skeet and clay on duty? Do they want do hunt waterfowl criminals? Do they want to permanently wound hippie protesters with beanbag rounds?
