I have a Daniel Defense MFR on my rifle and I fucking hate not being able to mount shit directly to the forend itself in 2016 (MFR has rail sections you can move around that you can mount shit on)

Yeah there's plenty of play. But there is play in every autoloader's magwell, as a measure of tolerance and reliability in the face of debris. When the bolt is closed over the top of the magazine nothing moves, same as any other autoloader.

No I don't think a dedicated 9mm lower is needed. The cost of this lower with this magblock is about what a non-gucci 9mm lower costs, and I still have the option of removing the block for use with any other AR caliber if I want (NFA complications aside).

Unless you want something funky looking like the DDLES or Quarter Circle 10, IMO mag block in a GI lower is the right choice. At the same cost and weight, why limit yourself to one caliber?

Mine is a drop-in block. Take out bolt catch, drop block in, reinstall bolt catch. No drilling for pins, no glue, no set screws. Also the bolt catch still works (with the right magazines), unlike a lot of other solutions. Just make sure you buy quality mags, that is the single biggest problem with 9mm ARs.

It's the only thing I found that could replace my beloved G7. Normally I hate palm grip mice, but the 402 is just a little smaller than most so it doesn't feel like a palm grip. Extra buttons are super rad, sensor is one of the best ever made, and you can turn off all the ricer bullshit without having to keep software running in the background. Also it stores to the mouse's memory so it comes with you.

If I recall, it varied from 4-4.4 pounds (the Larue didn't vary more than 2 ounces). The weight was fine, but the second stage had creep and some kind of rough chatter I could feel if I tried. I thought it was good at first, but the more I dry fired, the more I found it flawed. With the MBT being so cheap, the Ruger is right out.

Was an old RRA with matte finish I bought before I knew what I was doing. RRA and Colt used to be the only game in town. If I did it again I'd just use any slick slide GI upper (Rainier/Aero prob) and a 9mm UPK to build the same thing with a better finish.
