Fags I need your thought and opinions: I was shooting pic related and for whatever reason, the gun would fire on both the trigger pull and the reset if I let off the trigger slowly. Like if I released the trigger by letting my finger all the way off, it would reset fine, but letting it off slowly, it might fire again.

Good news, I'm a retard and installed my hammer spring in backwards. Also, my disconnect spring was visibly shorter than normal and both may have led to shitty sear engagement, causing the hammer to fall forward again upon reset. Not very tight, but not loose like a CAR stock. I had some electrical tape on the receiver extension, 2 strips which made it tight, but that made it too hard to collapse so I took it off. For a rifle, I prefer B5 over the SL-K, it feels sturdier. SL-K is tighter, but it's also lighter so not as susceptible to rattle. SL-K works better on babby guns imo. I'm impressed at the price. Neither rattles or wiggles when shouldered.

tl;dr They both great. B5 looser than SL-K. SOPMOD tighter than anything other than a locked CTR, M93 or UBR, but is wide as a Brazilian hooker.

it shot great other than pic related twice. The ppu is a tad under m2 ball spec so with the garand gear gas plug I think it wasn't getting enough gas. Shot 10 clips all prefect except the 2 rounds, it was dead on at 100 yds. We were ringing steel p easy. Way softer than I thought it would be. Going to put the original plug back in and see how she does

Thanks for the info. I wanted a B5 stock either the Bravo or Enhanced, but have heard issues with the Bravo not being tight enough. I didn't realize that is the SL-k, which does not have the locking leaf springs that the full size has that removes rattle.

Anyone here with a SOPMOD Enhanced want to chime in? How tight does it lock?

I'd take an SL-S over a SOPMOD simply because of how ridiculously fat the SOPMOD is. Pic related is my 6'1" cheek weld. Anything not wet is wasted space and weight unless you actually need 8 hard-to-get-to batteries and have no pockets anywhere on your entire body or backpack.

SOPMOD is tight though. The bottom section which fits over the receiver extension dorsal fin pinches tight, keeping it from rattling.

Do you have to take off the stock to get to the batteries? I think SL-S solves this by moving the storage door to the rear of the stock.

I think magpul really wanted to make a successor to the ACS and a competitor to the SOPMOD with the SL-S. They moved the tubes downwards to make it more slim.

It's interesting that you say it's too fat since I think most people get it for the cheekweld, or is that a meme and they only get it because it looks cool?

Because if you try, you can still wiggle it up and down. That's THREE pieces of tape on there to stop it doing that, and having the tape on that gun (that's my .308) doesn't make the stock stick like the Bravo did with 2 pieces. So tape stays on that gun for maximum autismic fitment. However, even without the tape, the stock does not rattle when you shake the gun. You can wiggle it by hand a little. Nearly every stock will do that. It's no less robust or comfortable for it.
