I have their g3 mlok in a 15" length. Great fit and finish, the mounting system is a little different, but you don't need to time the barrel nut. Yes it's a friction-based lock but they give you adhesive to really ensure a good hold, plus an anti-torque piece in case of emergencies. Five QD slots on it, they were a little rough initially but a little CLP on the QD mounts on my sling and it's much better. Slim and sexy, but still quite affordable. Anything else you want to know about it?

There'll be a pretty good gap at the rear of the receiver that'll allow basically whatever in to crap up/block the bolt carrier, and the Armalite pattern upper is a cunthair taller (something like 1/32nd of an inch) so the BCG's gonna mildly scrape the upper side of the buffer tube.

But it *should* function. Provided your ammo is full-power (not rem core-lokt or Tula) and everything's properly lubed.

MFT might be cheaper but it throws off the balance of the rifle (and some might argue aesthetics). Same with fixed irons, nothing inherently wrong, but there is less chance they get snagged on something when folded and using optics. In either case you absolutely 100% need buis.

If you're wanting a variable optic, keep in mind that any reticles with a BDC are only useful at max magnification if they're second focal plane. First focal plane is going to cost a decent amount extra.

If you're not doing much long range shooting then a red dot might be the way to go (but please do not get a flip-to-side magnifier)

My first AR upper I bought was not ideal at all and I want to sell it. How much do you think I can get for:

magpul MOE carbine handguard

Or should I sell the parts individually? I'm mostly not liking the barrel, 16" carbine sucks, melonite makes it hard to pin gas blocks, it's 1:9, etc. Maybe keep the upper? Nothing wrong with it.

I'm just wondering what price I should put it up for on Armslist or some other site.

Honestly, I'd simply swap the barrel for a 16" middy with an A2 FSP. There's a bunch of decent <$200 options out there for that. IIRC you can even have a muzzle brake in NY (but no flash hider or compensator) so you don't even have to be stuck with a bare muzzle. Unless you're shooting a lot of 77gr ammo twist rate really isn't going to matter.
