I got a Core-15. It was my first AR, and it was recommended to me over M&P, Windham, Bushmaster, and Ruger.
I was told that when Bushmaster got bought, everyone got fired, and most employees went over to Windham, and a smaller group started Core Rifle Systems.
It came with a lifetime warranty on the rifle, regardless of who owns it or how many times it was sold.
I think it shoots great, and love it, but there isn't a lot of info on them.

Does anyone know anything about these rifles? The warranty seems great, but maybe the company will go out of business.

The website claims they tune everything up "over mil-spec".....
Any /k/ommandos have dirt or anything?
(I love it, I'd hate to hear they suck, but I'd rather know the truth.

Make sure the toggle lever is all the way unlocked. You shouldn't need to force it. Looking at the screw in the bottom and the way the clamp moves as you adjust helps.

Thanks guys, the nut is not moving at all or protruding out. Yes, Im attempting it while not on the rail. I cant even loosen or tighten it. I tried adjusting the nut with a flat head with no avail. Its odd, it fits ok on my scorpion, ddm4, but is loose on my arsenal sm13 rail. Meanwhile my larue MRO fits on anything. Hmm

Never really looked too much into Assault/AR/MSR/whateverthefucktheyarenow before but have started looking now. I remember when I was a kid seeing ~$350 AK clones in mail-order catalogs and ~$700 ARs. Last time I glanced the most inexpensive semi in intermediate cartridges was the CZ58 for like $480.

Now I look and AKs are ~$600+ but I am seeing $500 ARs from ATI and Radical Firearms. The ATI rifles have a polymer lower and some problems from the reviews I've seen.

I'm just starting to look into Radical Firearms but was wondering what are your guys' thoughts on them? Any experience?
