3) What parts do I need to by for my upper to be done? Just have the upper, dust cover and forward assist. I was thinking barrel, gas block, gas rod, free floating rail, iron sights, birdcage, and maybe handguard?

No, using a torque wrench will not magically make your rifle more accurate. All the magic happens inside the barrel assembly, how tightly it is screwed into the receiver is irrelevant to accuracy as long as it isn't so tight it's damaging the receiver, and isn't so loose it wiggles. Can't say I've done anything like that to a buffer tube, but I routinely have to melt fletching adhesive and/or superglue with a propane torch to pull arrow inserts out of thin(ner) aluminum arrows at work.

I controlled for all possible variables because I was trying to build a 300m benchrest rifle.
Barrel was not brand-new, had around 500 rounds through it (including proper break-in procedure, which I know doesn't affect accuracy but does affect fouling rate).

Rifle was thoroughly cleaned between every single shot. 5 minutes were elapsed between every single shot. Stated group sizes were average of 10, 10-shot groups fired on the same day at the same range with the same equipment at the same ambient temperature and humidity with barrel temperature being within 3* F extreme spread as measured by an infrared thermometer at a specific, witnessed mark exactly at midpoint of barrel.

I have been building accurate rifles for decades. I know how to make an accurate rifle, even if some of the reasons for WHY what I do works aren't clear. And I'm not alone in this sentiment, every single big-name rifle and pistol accuracy guru/builder will and has publicly said the same shit.

Because AR's are highly personal preference rifles capable of fulfilling basically any role a rifle can fill, and a mature product with literally hundreds of valid, high-quality components in every category. You could literally write hundreds of pages about the various products and not cover even 1% of them.

That's entirely too much effort for a thread that lasts about 8 hours on average on a website where nobody reads stickies or OP's.
