This is good advice but to add on to it if you have NVGs (even shitty gen1 will do) and are completely lights out, literally covering the outside of the building with IR strobes is a great way to fuck with anyone coming up to ruin you. With NVGs it's going to be bright as fuck outside, so even the worst ones will be able to see and unless your opponent has thermals to see in the dark they'll be forced to ditch theirs to even function.

Bonus points if you have the lights rigged to tripwires, double bonus if they're in sectors and can be turned on/off as individual arrays. Timing the strobes to flash at different intervals would also make it easy for the defender to see since the flashing would be near minimum, but from the outside it would be a wall of pulsating lights.

You could still get the same effect with plain floodlights on strobe but with IR it means when they take their gear off you can drop the strobes down to individual spotlights (or weapon-mounted lights) that the defenders can see but they can't since they ditched their goggles.

You do not really need to use hexamine. You can just use formaldehyde and AN in the nitration. This will also help to somewhat reduce the concentration/or quantity of HNO3 that is required if the formaldehyde that is being used is in its solid form. But if only the liquid solution of formaldehyde is available, better to make the hexamine. But the solid form of formaldehyde can also be prepared from its liquid solutions through distillation using a little H2SO4 acid as a catalyst.


60 grams of 30% concentrated ammonia solution contains about 1 mole of NH3. 4 moles of NH3 condenses with 6 moles of CH2O to form 1 mole of hexamine. 30 grams of solid formaldehyde contains the equivalent of 1 mole of CH2O.<br>
