Airsoft is more realistic and interesting than 99% of the training I got in the military.

If you take it seriously and train realistically it can be a blast and give you actual skills, especially if you already have a military background

The problem is Airsoft is just not part of board culture here. /mu/ shit is always some kind of war music or music featured heavily in soldier culture. /ak/ is about war related or weapon related anime. It's a bit of a stretch, but this is 4chan, and you're not getting rid of anime any time soon. Airsoft has been time and time again referred to /asp/ or /toy/ for discussion, since the sport and hobby of airsoft has NEVER taken root in /k/ culture. We just don't give a shit about toy guns that aren't the occasional nerf collection for shits and giggles.
