I honestly don't know what went wrong, I was loading it the way the manual says to and that I've done before, and then on round 55/60 it unwound while I had the lever all the way to the side and there was no more tension in the mag.
Took it apart and it should have blown up in my face since I couldn't immobilize the wheel, but I got pic related instead.

I use it as a hand reference point. Where my hand rests into it is exactly where I can activate the light switch with my thumb. You can grip it gangster style too, but I don't use it that way most of the time. I also don't shoot with the stock collapsed, usually at the third or fourth position out.

I'm full of shit. I have like 4800 rounds of 77gr OTM left, 2500 855, prob 2000 mixed 193, some oddball bags and boxes of 55gr hornady up to 69gr random stuff.

Ammo is one thing that is generally not going to get cheaper with time, save for after a big panic/run. The baseline price keeps going up though. If you have the disposable meme bux then it's never a bad idea to blow a big wad when you see ammo you want for a damn good price. That CBC 77gr OTM at 60c/rd is a prime example.

Yes, but the company I ordered from apparently bought a large stock before that and weren't advertising them as gen 1. I was surprised I got one desu.

The only issue was that I had was that I milled side wall near the hammer pin a little too thin and had to use anti-walk pins. Oh, and it's also a flimsy piece of shit that is likely to crack around the buffer tube and pistol grip area if you're not super careful with it. Just get a mil-spec aluminum.

Are these lowers durable enough? I don't want something thats gonna crack at the stock connection point if I drop it.
