My point still stands, there's a difference between being armed and prepared for a possible violent confrontation while going about your day to going out of your way to a ghetto and waiting to be violently confronted.
You should be able to carry in case of an attack, yet you shouldn't go looking for trouble just to justify using your weapon.
In this case, neither parties were in the right. Don't take my condemnation of these dumbfuck /k/omrades as my support for the black protesters, what both did were wrong, and so both paid the price.
It's within your rights to live in a ghetto, yet you wouldn't because most people know the full risks.
It's within your rights to eat fast and junk foods all the time, yet you do so knowing the full risks. However, the U.S. still has an obesity problem.
It is within your rights to drink alcohol, yet you do so knowing the full consequences. However, people still get drunk, and drunk people are arrested all the time for doing idiotic things such as drink driving, assault, the list goes on.
For every action, there is a reaction. This is something people need to realize, and they need to realize that anything can happen.

The point is ,they were well within their rights,counter-protesting is not looking for trouble as you put it,neither is bystanding.

You perceive it as looking for trouble because of the fact that BLM protestors create trouble against anyone who disagrees with them and hence disagreeing with them is looking for trouble,I hope it is evident how wrong this line of thought is.
