Love the mix of language and typography in them. Minimal with blocky text and contrasting colours are nice... but I especially love the more maximalist, artsy ones.
Blue and white/gray/black is an awesome look

I didn't even know this board existed

I would post there but it's mostly a board for people to showcase their own stuff rather than appreciate art, people here are likely to know more about and appreciate art from japan I would, but thanks for suggesting.

This is mostly a board for Japanese anime geek media. None of this stuff seems like something an anime geek would be interested in. Post some poster ads of anime movies or games or something.

I'm interested

I'm aware my friend, it's just something i'm interested in that is tangentially related to being a otaku fella, was wondering if anyone else here had more to share!
I really like vintage ones.
Panasonic ad from 1928, when they were known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
This ad from 1928 is still famous.

These two posters are in Chinese, but are Japanese companies.
You may notice the text in these old ads seem "backwards". Pre-war Japan read horizontal text right-to-left.

I like the yellow font.
I love posters too.
Can anyone confirm that this is a real WW2 propaganda poster and not just a mock-up based on that era style?

It appears to be the book cover for The Pacific War by Saburo Ienaga.

Agreed it's really great.

This is one of my favorite things. I like how it just lists a bunch of neuroses and the quote that bookends them is really iconic. The Eva ads and posters in general are really awesome.
