Mehlis would be a high priority if you don't have a good mage. Claire is an incredibly strong archer for being just a gold so you'll want to get her up there too.

As someone who owns her, care to explain her good points? I feel like since a lot of Sapphire units are just prototypes for new classes, they all kind of suck. Time Nico is another example where her skill became a native trait of the class that's active full time and now her skill is garbage. Likewise, this girl's skills are pretty terrible, IMO, and I can hardly call any similarities to mind between her and Mortena short of both of them having Cerberus tokens.

For general maps which are so short she's pretty underwhelming for her cost. She's horrendously overpowered in Subjugation maps though and can practically solo 500 kill runs.

She's a meat grinder in human form, and gets stats that let her tank anything short of a mithril golem with minimal support while still hitting like a three-horned truck. Widely considered one of the best plats in the game, but cost-heavy and needs AW/SAW for full potential.

She was one of my early rolls and I never raised a HA because of her.

She's practically a black unit, despite being a plat. It'll take a while to get her up to snuff, but she's definitely worth the effort.

Depends on the subjugation, but generally the rewards for clearing tiers are a silver unit, a fairy queen, I think a plat armor?, and 50 demon crystals. The total kill rewards are various levels of fairies. The recent one lets you earn up to three of the plat EXP fairies that can instantly take a plat unit from level 1 to level 50 (they give 19k EXP), so hopefully we'll see more rewards like that going forward.

Even without the time to let her AW Skill activate, her stats are still amazing and she can do pretty much anything from DPS, Duel, tank a boss, act as a lightning rod; but her effectiveness to cost ratio is a bit lacking as you'd be able to substitute a lower-stat unit to do the same in half the cost. She's not useless in non-subjugation maps, I've used her just fine to 3* God-tier event maps, but she's kind of like Anya in that, her cost is so high that you probably want to make sure you'll actually have the spare UP to be able to field her in time before bringing her to a map. Unlike in Subjugation where she's just a unit you automatically bring in. Kind of like healers, you don't stop to think about what if the enemies don't deal that much damage, you just automatically bring them then decide what to do with the leftover slots afterwards.

She's Mortena with a fraction of the damage basically. Not broken but plenty serviceable for midgame content. Nasu Games' magic city story maps show off how you can use her iirc.

Just got my Dorania, been using some SC to recharge my 14 stamina but unsure if I'll be able to get a good Aria as well. Should I keep using some SC to get as many MC for her before it switches, or do you guys think I'll be able to play it safe from now on? So has anyone else started using weird teams to clear Three Kings out of boredom? I've started using a fun team of Memento and Liddy to fight the swarms... it's surprising how good Liddy is honestly (though that's probably because of the swarms of weak goons and the high amount of UP we start with) and its funny watching a token kill a dragon king.

Long gone are the days when everytime I logged into X-O I was swamped in shards and friend requests.

Probably just the fact that everyone has settled into full friendlists, or realized how crappy my helper is, but it feels much emptier even though it seems high on the rankings.

I get 2-3 pages as well. I think I'm playing the game wrong though. I don't have anything against males but I just thought I would focus on draining the girl gacha out of Rs since those can cost you crystals.

Now my list is full of rank 1xx with monster lvl 50 Scwartzs and Shiens and I only have a lvl 54 Margie to show. If I went that route I could have probably been farming the trial bosses and raping the raids too with a big stamina pool for the events to come.

Rion is one of the most used units against Furfur's majin maps because you can use her to solo kill one of the 4 sub-bosses that show themselves briefly towards the start of the map before they have a chance to come at you.

Fuck. I've got this team now and I still can't beat these 3 story missions.

1. The one with 4 exits in the destroyed town that costs 22 charismas.

2. The one in the graveyard that costs 26. The heavy armor enemies come so early that it fucks my shit up hard.

3. The one outside the city that costs 29.

What's the secret? How do I git gud? I feel like I should be able to stomp those missions at this point, but I can't seem to.

No, that's first roadblock, you can cheese them via abusing assassination RNG, but there's still minimal amount of levelled units you need. I don't think you can clear Return to Ruins and further w/out at least good healer.

Not on a regular basis, but she requires exactly zero investment (beyond what's required to get her, at least) and can situationally enable some fancy tricks, like letting you drop AW Prince at 23-cost in makai maps or turning him into a 10-cost princess for early game armors/werewolves.

I wish she also went back in time and turned Prince into a 10-year old princess for some /ll/ action. I mean, we're long overdue for the event where we get Kokoro's old master by de-fusing her from the chronodemon, right?

On that graveyard map you should use soldiers if you want to have enough points before armor appears.
If you deploy 50CC1 Katie as your first unit there, her skill will be up right before armor, so you can use her skill, retreat her and place emperor.

Looks like the new set of Christmas characters are Skimmia, Christmas Begonia, Apricot, Ionocidium and Stewartia (as a rainbow, no less). 2ch folks are quick to datamine the update as usual.

Lack of Ivy and Pomegranate was apparently something of a surprise. Let's see if we'll see the a bloomed form for the former next week, or if the latter will finally get implemented on the week after (she's the only girl remaining from the previous set of revealed characters).

Looks like there's a new Quest Campaign running in DMM FKG till the 10th of January. You can get a total of 4 premium gacha tickets by completing daily missions. I've successfully tested it with the discounted nation mission, but stuff like dragon maps should work as well.

If you want a great soldier go for Aria, only the plat gacha soldiers are better than her. Echidna is not really worth much but she's sorta cute.

Even at same cost Aria wins out vs Katie, 2% attack is used by everyone for everything, 2% defense is only really used by melee and even then not all use defense (bandits, thieves, anything fighting against magic damage, etc). In terms of blocking simple shit like goblins Katie and Aria can do it fine but Aria will kill them faster.
Just the CR and skilling up should be enough to use Aria over Katie as unit points are their main job.

Sort of. Buying unit space directly does cost crystals, but once you cap out you can buy entire sets of unit space in the form of barracks, which hold 250 units each. If you're on DMM (I don't know which anon I'm talking to anymore) then you can also unlock fairy and armor storage for free with the third barracks. It's more of a long term goal, but maybe just try to poke at it every now and then.

Anyway, like I said, long term goals. Just poke at your storage every now and then, maybe even just as necessary. But DMM will rain silvers down on you with all of the events and revivals that have guaranteed first time drops, so you'll probably be increasing it sooner rather than later.

Iris' skill is absolutely bullshit, 2x Defense to all allies in her range. 2.5x after SAW, and also gives her 1.4x attack on top of it. On top of that, the duration is amazing, 60+ seconds. Also, she's a Healer, which means you can automatically include her in your team by default in 99.999% of maps without even bothering to check what kind of map it is.

Aisha gives tons of good stuff. 10%/20%/30% Cooldown reduction for all allies once she's deployed, solid DPS for a low cost, +14% HP to all allies as her AW Passive, a very strong skill (although with a huge cooldown). One of those on its own would be good, but not amazing, but Aisha has all of them in one package.

Minerva has huge range, and a skill that boosts her attack speed (the main weakpoint of her class), and because Blacks can use their skills right away, you can just place Minerva and activate her skill and cheese the fuck out of most early maps because her DPS is so bullshit.

Am I the only one that finds getting a black of your choosing so soon breaks the flow of the game completely? I mean, its really great but It kinda destroys the progression, you are going to blaze though roadblocks and reduce the usefulness of those early silver, golds that came to you, let alone iron and bronze units. If it was random or require some higher lvl would make some sense to me.

It didn't really impact me in that way because I was already like lvl 220+ when it came out, but it really feels like the kind of thing you would normally give to people at lvl 100 or something, so that they get a hang of the game before you give them a unit that completely breaks early-game balance only for them to be confused as fuck when they do extreme-tier and god-tier event maps and are confused why their waifu-cheesing strategy doesn't work on high level maps.

I've only just recently looked at Leona due to the white emperor and she's still just cc30. I've had a mincost max skill Miruno sitting around since her event finished and I've only just recently even looked at her unit art.

Item collection units get slightly more attention due to SC cost, but even if I mincost them they only ever make it to cc50 before they're forgotten for half a year or more.

I have an AW Amanda and I only ever use her for her drop rate buff because Lyla is just so much better most of the time, with I guess the exception being when you want to tank Mithril Golems, but they never show up in Events anymore, and so are only in one or two story maps.

In terms of pure HP, yes, but in pure HP pool it's almost always overkill against magic-damage enemies and bosses. The super hard hitting bosses have always been physical but her Defense is absolutely shit so you doesn't benefit much from Defense boosters (and almost everyone has a Black Iris now, so they have access to a unit with a 2.5x Def buff). It works great against Golems though, because they hit like once every 5+ seconds or something, but she's rather lacking against bosses with a more normal attack speed.

Yes, Amanda should be at about 2750 with Prince and her only buff. Keep in mind the AoE, and that Lyla's AW Skill CD is 20 seconds less though. I use Lyla for general usage and Amanda for tanking strong Golems. But I can't remember the last time I've used Amanda to tank Golems, since devs haven't been using them in events lately.

I checked my friendlist on X-O and saw plenty have abandoned the game in the last week, even high level people with top helpers leaving.

The game really doesn't feel very alive and the fact that the guys from SuperHippo plan to make an original xmas event fills me with dread. They can't even fix the event stage bug or the login in time and the game is still filled with bugs and shoddy translations, like any other Nutaku game ofc.

So that makes two popular games from DMM off to a rough start and a scummy art stealing piece of shit in the top 2 in the rankings. I really hope the rankings are manipulated or it would really be depressing.
Have not touched Senpro but being whaleshit is probably going to be the new flavor for the guys in DP and IW and it might stick.

Dmm has had event daily quests since Lunaria's event. They just give a small amount of event currency and recently a small amount of accessory exp fodder.
They aren't too useful since they usually only give a small amount of currency and you can only complete one per difficulty.
