TD was one step away from having generic anime portraits, while DDC and LoLK went back to a more rough style and coloration.

I honestly like the way he draws, but I can see why many people think it's crappy, specially since anatomy gets wacky.

No really, that's what it's called. It works a lot like package managers on Linux. Installation uses a command line interface but all the available options are on the screen for you.

ZUN just has his own style. Whether if his style is good or bad is up to you, but I appreciate originality.
Though I think his color palettes could use a bit of improvement, and I also feel the poses can look awkward at times. But seeing as he's been inspired from JoJo at certain times, maybe that's where he's coming from.

He can't draw well. But he doesn't give a shit and enjoys doing what he does, which I respect.

His drawings are technically terrible and he never bothered improving. Stop giving him excuses.

To be honest, I think current ZUN art is pretty acceptable. It's nothing amazing or groundbreaking--and yes his old art was definitely awful--but I'd hardly call it bad. I can't help but wonder if the people who say it's still bad aren't just perpetuating some kind of meme.

It's pretty obvious that ZUN is not an artist by talent or trade, given how bad he was at it originally. But with enough effort he seems, at least to me, to have made big strides.
