So I remember seeing a thread awhile that was just people sharing some japanese bands/music they enjoy and I figured we should get another one going. Plus I want to get into some new artists.I know we have that 3x3 one going but I would like this one to be a youtube/soundcloud/etc link sharing one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo4cjV8W3gI - Bentham
Pretty good song and catchy have been listening to it for few days now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkSH683wpNM - AL
Another good one. I checked out the full album but wasn't really digging it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnL9Fch-bbg - Blu-Swing
Found these guys on the last thread that was going and fell in love with their stuff.

how do you guys get around this? I used to use a browser VPN extension called tunnel bear but it stopped working for me

I just use this website called unblockyoutube.co.uk even though I'm in U.S. It works pretty well. Though I'm sure there is a better extension or something out there.

First one kinda remind me of a french singer I like.
Really liked the second one, the singer has that hoarse voice that I really like that some japanese men have.
Here's one of my favorite. It's an old singer but I really like her.

Definitely enjoyed this one. The intro kind of reminded me of a cowboy movie for some reason.
Forgot to post this in OP but this one I got from the newest gaki no tsukai.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7mDUw4Ud34 It's pretty fantastic.
What did you guys think of the new 相対性理論 album? Personally think its another great release from them, especially the song ベルリン天使.
Anyone know any other bands similar to this?

Scratch that, just spotted Ryo Fukui. That dude has some awesome music! The Uehara Hiromi of his time.
I can't figure out the original of the song and it's driving me INSANE because of how familiar it is.
It's ほりっくさーびす's comiket 77 album エネルギー冷麺お受験せんそ→
The song name itself is すくーるみずぎ!ちゅっちゅ ~Vocal Remix~

Was it just a single freeleech file? What's a good way to find such a big freeleech file, or do you mind sending a link? Thanks anon.
>>15716736
Go to torrents, in advanced search click DVD only and sort by snatches, seeders or leechers. You'll probably even find something you find interesting and want to watch too, which is a plus.
>>15718380
Your advice was really helpful anon, I can't thank you enough. I actually searched up some small torrents of 10GB of AKB48 videos after hearing your initial advice. I seeded them for a few hours, and managed to up my ratio to 10. It's a pity though since I probably won't watch them. Are there any interesting leechfree DVDs which you picked up and actually enjoyed? I'm not an idol fan, but I'm willing to watch some while upping my ratio.
>>15713950
If you have an AB account just upload 10 random things and you'll get access to the secret Invite forum. All the private trackers are there, including WCD and JPS.
>>15714321
Keep about 20-30 small, less popular files seeding constantly in the background (hopefully things you like). Even if nobody uploads from you, or if you have a restricted upload speed, you will collect enough bonus points to exchange for 1 gigabyte of credits per week. Bonus points are awarded for simply keeping a file available on a per-file-per-hour basis, not per-gigabyte.
>>15718765
This. I've got 3,000 files seeding and I'm getting 7K a day. That's 70GB of upload every 1.5 days. JPS might as well be ratioless once you figure out how to abuse the system they've set up.
>>15655254
not too shabby
>>15718703
Not many I'm afraid. I don't watch many live shows. I do love AKB48 in Tokyo Dome ~1830m~, but I might be biased.
For finding different artists, most, if not all of the recent Kouhaku Uta Gassen are available on freeleech.
>>15718776
Same, but not as many. I've gathered up enough points over the years to cash out a few terabytes.

> WE GOT THE FUNK
Don't forget about the best kind of funk. https://youtu.be/H6k-zYsHxws
Recently I got back to BYEE the ROUND. I love this very energetic band, too bad they went on "hiatus" (basically broke up). Their production could be pretty uneven with amazing release followed up by boring one and then great one again. But when they were at the top of their game it was fantastic. I can wholesomely recommend their latest Mini-album GOOD BYEE to YOU.
https://youtu.be/JYPiOMR1jtg
GACKT's latest album is pretty good. Although, stylistically it seems a bit different from his previous work. Seems to me like he dropped fun experiments his early albums were full of just to focus on producing a solely "serious" album. It's kind of shame but I guess that allowed him to focus more on the sound itself since LAST MOON sounds absolutely magnificent. Heavy, fateful, pressuring! Very good.

I know a lot of people like this but it will always be mediocre at best for me.
The progression isn't bad in itself but it's not good enough to last 3 1/2 minutes without getting stale, and even though there is some slight variation it's really not enough. Just because there are jazz instruments doesn't translate to the writing being any good.

>>15879229
Don't remind me.
All I know about her is the music, some articles and like 2 translated interviews.
It's really frustrating not to know the story behind all this, what caused the band to split up? what is going on with Mariko? Did she have a mental breakdown? Her banging the mic against her head until she bled always seemed a bit off to me but that was still surprising.
>>15882158
I don't know about Midori but her explanation for quitting music was jealousy and an unnamed medical issue that required her to sell most of her stuff for treatment. I doubt we'll ever know what actually happened unless some of the other band members say something.
midori girl went solo pop and then quit because she had a breakdown that she would never be popular and famous
why helming a post-avant jazzcore outfit would ever seem like a viable path to mainstream popularity is beyond me as well
quasi-related, new world's end girlfriend will be out late november, probably going to be aoty again
