All rainbows are incredibly strong, cuteness is the only factor that matters. Whom you get is ultimately unimportant, just pick the girl you like the most.

If you really feel the need to min-max, go with Maple or Euonymus for their 1.2x skill chance abilities, Bride Oncidium or Acacia for a great combination of party attack buffs and enemy attack debuffs (20%/-10% for Acacia, 15%/-15% for Oncidium) or Dendrobium for 2x chance for her own skill on the first turn.

About to do my 2nd and last 10+1 roll on FKG for a long time.

I've been playing this since the game released, and like most DMM games, I've been pretty lucky, getting a 6 star as my starting roll in the very beginning, but like most DMM games, I don't really actually play the "game" very frequently.

Nah, silvers aren't especially useful. They're considerably better than bronze girls when you're just starting out, but you will eventually cycle them out for event golds (which are easy to get since there are 4+ events running at the same time now) and later gacha golds.

It's good to keep one copy of each for collection purposes, though. It's not like you're strapped for character slots.

Iris blows her out of the water though if it's black iris, but even then the 900 is global and very useful if multiple units are taking damage.

If you'd like to discuss something different, here's an updated version of the phylogenetic chart for all flower knights currently in the game.

The greatest change is in the number of ranunculids, since we had only one (Anemone) for half a year and got no less than seven new additions in rapid succession - indeed, if you count Wolfsbane for Primrose's event, we actually had a 14-week streak where a new ranunculid was added to the game with each batch of girls. Almost every group that had a single girl also got a second representative during this period: Snake Gourd in the cucumber family (with Pumpkin), Hoya in the dogbane family (with Dipladenia), Lisianthus in the gentian family (with Gentian), Veronica in the plantain family (with Snapdragon), Ardisia and Primrose in the primrose family (with Cyclamen), Sinclairiana in the acanthus family (with Justicia), Wintersweet in magnoliids (with Magnolia) and Pine and Fir in conifers (with Hinoki), so I'm inclined to think that they're actively considering flower diversity when introducing new girls.

New groups introduced during the past four months include Boraginaceae (Heliotrope and Forget-me-Not), Cannabaceae (Hop), Xanthorrhoeaceae (Aloe), Laurales (Wintersweet), Chloranthales (Sarcandra), Celastrales (Euonymus, which also complates the Celastrales-Oxalidales-Malpighiales set in FKG) and Saxifragales (Bergenia, Moutan Peony and Garden Peony). I think the palms and the birches are the only major unrepresented orders that remain, and they're definitely giving attention to oddball flowers now, we've had no orchids and a considerably lower number of asterids and rosids than expected.

That said, are there any flowers that you want to see in the game?

I'm not that savvy about flowers, I admit. I just read that my country has a national flower, the carnation.
I do have memories of climbing the Pyrenees and finding Edelweiss and a flower that I don't think I've seen any other place. A very memorable plant that grows quite big on cliffs and rocky sides for 5 years, blooms once beautifully, then dies and falls off the cliffs. It's name was "corona del rey" - King's crown - and if interested here's a link, doesn't seem to be translated to English tho. Maybe I should do it if bored.

Rafflesia is popular in 2ch threads too, from what I can see, but it's somewhat out of bounds for FKG since it has no well-recognized flower meaning. It's possible that it could pop up as an enemy, though, like Nepenthes did in Agave's LN.

But I suppose a Rafflesia-themed knight could work as a beautiful but lazy ojou-sama who relies on Tetrastigma (a maid or childhood friend?) for everything from bathing to dressing herself, since Rafflesia is completely incapable of surviving on its own and must use its host to fuel its majestic bloom. In fact, that could work on a whole bunch of parasite/host pairs too, like broom/broomrape, beech/beechdrops and thyme/dodder-of-thyme (or Mistletoe could get an elder sister in Sandalwood, which is both hemiparasitic and has "calmness, serenity" as its flower meaning, so it could work well for a girl who is graceful in public and capable at her job as a knight, but also unable to cook, clean or otherwise take care of herself in private).

As for corona del rey, it's likely that we'll get a saxifrage girl some time across the road, especially since they added the peonies and Bergenia not too long ago.

Bananas are in the ginger order, so Red Ginger, Canna and Heliconia are the closest relatives they have in FKG. And speaking of nations, we also don't have a Bergamot in the game either, though we do have another citrus in Tachibana.

Also, FKG has explicitly non-flowering plants in Ginkgo, Hinoki, Fir and Pine, so the showiness of flowers isn't that big an issue.

On Nutaku or DMM?

On Nutaku, Aigis is almost unplayable because events are much less frequent than they should be. I don't know how it retains players, since logging in to do Phalanx 2/Oasis over and over again is pretty much an exercise in masochism.

On DMM, they give you a lot of things to do, so that the players remain engaged, but if you still find it boring while playing on DMM, maybe the game isn't for you. Despite its tower defense exterior, it's still a standard grindfest browser game, after all.

I gimped 3 of my teams so they fall to the bugs -but still get to the arrow panel, meaning the first team should be able to beat the first bug and then be defeated afterwards- while getting all of them into the same starting camp. Ordered them in descending speed alternating weak-strong to have my strongest one (team 2) and the helper clean up the north and then clear the rest of the map afterwards. Lilac can be useful too if you have her.

You get Yamayuri's slot and skill flowers from chests. Higher-tier maps have better chances for a given chest to be a flower instead of a generic reward.

Subsequent grinding events had you buy the girl and her flowers directly from the shop, and the grinding was for event currency that you could use to do so. Alternatively, the girl was given to you at the end of the event depending on how much event currency you had collected.

Christ, after all the party manipulation required for ?-5, the remaining three stages seem almost painfully simple in comparison.

They were trying pretty hard before too, Dev Tea does love their game. Aigis was (and still is) consistently one of the top performers on DMM, it could drop a few spaces whenever a new game popped up but never for long.

But now FKG is emerging as a long-term competitor with a far more user-friendly approach, and there are games like NTRhime and X-OverD that may hold top spots for a good while too. I wouldn't be surprised if this whole slew of updates is in part to show that Dev Tea still has what it takes to edge out their competitors.

Here's my set up for the map. My unit is around level 38-40, you need a strong tanky sword in the position where I placed Fukuyama and a gunner with really wide range in Fukuchiyama's position to snipe Sakumakanazawa and whittle down her hp before she could even start moving towards Tono.

And having castles with stratagems that have healing and ki generation unit helps a lot.
