Nutaku has some leeway in what it can do, since they're "developing" FKG (unlike Aigis) and can evidently give flower stones at will. But Nutaku also confirmed that FKG gacha will follow the DMM model, and 6% gold/0.5% rainbow is what the DMM model has (it used to be 3% gold, they doubled the chances since then) so you're stuck with that for the foreseeable future.

Well, Nutaku's FKG has been decent on the event front (at least until they have to translate event stories, they haven't been adding character quests and their translations are still a mess so I'm not sure if they can handle regular story translations every two weeks). But Nutaku also has a tendency to make incredibly stupid decisions with alarming frequency, so it's a good idea not to pay it until it reverts the current censorship in FKG and goes for say, a month or two without doing something patently retarded.

Even if you intend to pay, you're better off waiting for the 5000 DMM point deal anyway. Speaking of which, it's also a good idea to make a few back-up accounts on DMM, in case you get a rainbow from the silver/gold tickets you get. They give you two silver tickets with 1.5% rainbow chances and a gold ticket with a 7.5% rainbow chance, so you have about 10% chance for a rainbow within your first week of play.

There's nothing wrong with reading the story, FKG has little in the way of gameplay and mostly retains players through cute girls, story and excellent user treatment (on DMM at least).

But one nice thing about the game is that its recollection album allows you to read event stories even without playing them. So if Nutaku shows no sign of improvement, it would be easy to log in every two weeks and read the new event stories without having to actually play the EN version.

Some other info. Looks like the character gets new AW Art after their second Awakening, one for each split. Only Blacks get to pick their split. Seems like Gold/Plat are locked into one sub-class. So Blacks will get two new arts, Sapphires/Plats/Golds only get a single new art.

So like Katie will probably get a Defensive Class, while Aria gets an Offensive Class. While Altia will get to choose which one she does because she's a Black. Hopefully this doesn't mean there's about to be huge powercreep in the difficulty of events.

I use a very similar lineup too, only I put the Prince where Odette appears and I have the black unit who boosts GR drop rates that isn't Kikyo because I am bad at names.

Also I line that middle island with 2 bishops and Bashira and ignore the corners.

Easieat 3 stars I've gotten.

If anyone else happens to have the gathering only takes away stamina bug, if you do it at 0 stamina it ends up refilling the whole thing, I assume it'll work as long as the stamina you have is less than the amount being taken away.

But this bug, certainly. There doesn't seem to be any way to consistently exploit this, so there's no need to worry about people getting banned for it. The double max stamina bug happened to me 4 or 5 times since yesterday, and I lose a lot of stamina too because of gatherings. If I get banned I'm going to be pissed.

This whole thing reminds me of a event that happened on star trek online open beta years back. There was an exp exploit that let you gain more than intended. they had a dev say that most people exploited it like 5-20 times and that they only banned the far out cases like a guy who did it 1000 times or some other crazy numbers.

Well, that's a new one for Nutaku FKG bugs.

I leveled up, ran my stamina down, and tried to do a gathering. The screen would get the translucent black overlay, but immediately went back and never ran the gathering. I clicked several times and nothing happened. So I refreshed and all of my gatherings were gone with only a half hour or so on the timer and I had double max stamina. But I still had my level increase. Seems like I still have the money from my quest, too.

I think the dragon will probably be too strong, but you should be able to deal with everything else. I'm not sure if there's any unit other than Isabel who can kill the dragon (Leona can attack it, but deals close to no damage).

So I hope the dragon has no drops, otherwise that's a really mean move by the dev tea.

Is Odette worth investing in at base cost/skill level if my only mages are a mincosted Valerie and the plat gay elf? I'm mainly just trying to build a team that can at least get the 500 reward from the current subjugation and my biggest weakness is no CCed melee units with ranged attacks so I was thinking Odette+gay elf might be able to bruteforce it with support from Miruno. That or I could just try for the plat Ninja from today's GR and not bother with a silver one.

How do you get that set-up fast enough to be useful?

Their level resets when they CC (stats remain the same +1 level), so it's absolutely worth it. Units that CC get 50 levels in their base form, then 50-80 more at CC depending on rarity. It's a HUGE boost to stats.

But yeah, go ahead. If need be, I can give you the string used to generate that tree as well, so you can add new girls and update it as they come. Anyway, the chart's just plain sexy and the naming shows good sense. Although I would not use Astrogalus for Rengesou since Astrogalus is the largest genus of plants with over 3,000 described species, and DMM's name seems to be the traditional name specifically for Chinese Milk Vetch.

Yeah, that's a fair point. Most flowers have obvious common names in English, but then you have a couple that refer to specific plants with no real counterparts, and you're left in a pickle (Ajisai and Kurenai are the biggest offenders here, you can't even use Hydrangea because they are both hydrangeas).

By the way, I've noticed that the English DMM wiki is not up-to-date for the recent buff to skills (Iris still shows a 1.4x multiplier, for example, while Cosmos is at 1.5x). You guys may want to fix that, here's a list of the relevant buffs: http://fkg.blog.jp/archives/58271219.html
