I've seen auctions for used MDDs once in a while on yahoo japan auctions. If you have months to spend you can just watch it every day for new auctions and maybe get a decent deal.

Mind you, those auctions usually includes heads, hair and clothing. It's someone else's second hand loli.

I remember a couple of auctions for dolls where the seller said "Beloved daughter, due to circumstances tearfully selling". Starting bid was 40k, and no one bid on those even when it was the body, head, hair, eyes and outfits.

This is an Obitsu body. I'm biased, but I personally think they are better than MDD bodies. They have superior posing abilities and parts are more readily available.

The only catch is afaik you will need an adaptor piece to fit a Volks head to an Obitsu body but they are commercially available.

God why do red eyes suit Miku so well. I don't know if it's a different Miku owner or it was you but I saw one in this thread a little while ago and she had red eyes too.

When I first saw Miku I had assumed she'd do poorly customised due to having a blue/green faceup but that doesn't seems to have been the case. I've seen her with all coloured eyes and wigs and they all work fine.

Smaller is nearly always better. Here are some advantages:

-more clothing will go on the doll
-more clothing will actually fit properly and look good
-will not look like some loser's sex toy quite as much (important)
-big girl lingerie made to fit little girls can literally create diamonds out of meat, a very useful ability

It's also not proportional. Generally if a chick has a G cup (like the DD L shapely bust), the woman will carry around more weight on other parts of her body, making her look proportional (of course there are exceptions, like girls who have to have reduction surgery. I've met two of these girls and it really improved their confidence and back pain).

Women can look proportionally fine with small waste and double D size, but things like the DD L bust on a DDS body just look like those porn stars who go way too far and are more of a spectacle than a sex object.

That said after some thought I realized something. I bought that witch outfit because I loved it but I did not love Strawberry wearing it. Also people here did not like what Strawberry was wearing when she was not a little witch.

So I put Grumpy Cookie in the Witch outfit with a larger hat to be acquired later. Also replaced the eyes with the only other ones I have. They are too dark and lame so those need to be replaced. I thought about this question a bit more, and here's what I realized. I own 3 MDD dolls, who are meant to be little girls based on their body shape and outfits.

Little girls are taboo in society (U.S) for a guy like me. I'm in my early 30s and single. No wife, no girlfriend, no children. For me to even look at a little girl for more than a few seconds in public is considered bad/creepy, and would draw the attention of the girl's parents or any nearby self righteous adult. And if I were to have a conversation with a little girl without a woman supervising either her or me, why that's even worse. That can easily be construed as a bad man looking to kidnap a little girl.

As a result I don't interact with or look at little girls in my daily life. To exaggerate, I'm more paranoid about interacting with little girls than with bikers or drug addicts.

I said I would do it so here is ShoujoA-chan. She has no neck piece (her head is just sitting on the torso vinyl), a broken shoulder, two broken hips and a broken ankle. I made her body up out of the broken and spare parts I had lying around. Except for the neck she has a complete (albeit broken) body. Which I guess I shouldn't be proud of since it means I've broken an entire body's worth of parts.

I bought this head as an unfinished project, the previous owner had tried to widen the eye holes but gave up. The holes were the wrong circumference and even 20mm eyes foul on the outer edges but still have gaps towards the centre. I had another go and damaged her faceup in the process so she's been living in purgatory ever since. But now I have the money to buy a proper mini dremel tool I'm considering having another go.

Also please ignore the blutack holding her eyes in I did it in a hurry.

It is hard. That's why I ended up with 4 sets of Lizanna eyes for one doll.

Post a photo of Cookie next to a metric ruler and I can give better estimates for the eye sizes.
