I've been reading up on these manga cafe/hotels in Tokyo and they sound really great value. You're in a small cubicle with a computer and can sleep on the floor, there's a shower in the facility and an all you can use library of anime and manga. It only costs €120 for an entire week so it'd be really cheap. If you're in another country you'd probably be outside all day anyway so all you really want is a place to sleep and internet access.

Of that list I think I'd be most self conscious about the bringing the bowl back part or if I ordered something I didn't like and didn't eat very much I'd worry about offending the staff if they saw.
I wouldn't worry too much about the manner of eating since I think most people are aware how eating habits differ across the world.

That's so strange to me. I literally do everything on my own. Even in Ireland I end up going to food places and restaurants on my own if I'm interested. All of my new hobbies and stuff I try out is on my own too.
I guess some people just don't have the courage. For me it is socially awkward and I get a ton of anxiety but I still force myself to do it anyway until I get used to it.

Psychiatrists will cost a few hundred if you are going private, if you get a public referral then enjoy a six month wait. Meds you pay a maximum of 140eur per month iirc. hospital stays will be 75 per night up to 750 max per year.

Psychiatric care will include everything from therapy, cbt, wrap, OT and more. You're going to be on a waiting list.
I have a medical card.
For me I waited about 3 weeks for each of them but once I got to my first appointment for each it was once weekly for 7-8 weeks.
Once you get through the initial waiting period for psychiatrist (for me it was 2 weeks or something) you will get appointments as needed. Sometimes its once monthly for me, other times its once every 3 months, or longer depending on what the psychiatrist thinks.
I can often just phone up and ask for an appointment this week.
They only have outpatient appointments once a week.
I don't know what a "shrink" is exactly.

You get a referral through your GP and after that your psychiatrist will control everything you get/see in the services.
From there your GP will only print your prescription to bring to the pharmacy.

My psychiatrist gives me a blue card with my meds on it, I give it to the receptionist at my GP and my GP will print it out. I don't even see the GP. Just walk in and say "can you print this for me?" and come back in 24 hours and the GP will have it sorted.
Costs me nothing that way. Don't actually make an appointment to get your prescription printed lmao.

I may be wrong but I think seeing a psychiatrist is free here even without a medical card. Personally I'd never go private. Unless maybe for a psychologist or something. It could be different for a non-national.

Not him but also like to have my large meal early in the day. I only have a small breakfast so I'm ravenous by 1. A sandwich wouldn't really cut it. Most people have a scone or something at 11 to help them avoid that but that just seems unnecessary to me.
It's healthier to eat your big meal in the middle of the day as well rather than towards the end since your body as all day to process it.
