To top this off, they have no particularly notable religious practices, they don't make human sacrifices by the thousand, they don't have the autistic Confucian pursuit of perfection, they don't have any crusades or jihads of any significance.

And lastly, SA history is just really inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Barring the Mauryan Empire and the Durrani Empire I can't think of many native empires that did anything significant.

I said it's descended from Brahmi Script just like Devnagri and Thai script.
