It's simply an antithesis of the usual plastic pop song we've grown accustomed to see in yurovision with lots of flashy gimmicks to appeal to the vote and distract from the shit quality of the song (see last year's Russia).

Some people seem to appreciate this complete lack of try-hardness, the melody itself and the fact that it's not sung in english. It definitely stands out in these few aspects.
