Reading a couple of different manga series at the moment and in あっちこっち、the mangaka sometimes uses 折角、流石、押忍、何処 instead of せっかく、さすが、おっす and どこ, among other things. First time I've seen 折角 and 押忍 in manga.
How is this sort of thing viewed by native readers? A bit of a quirk of the mangaka or something?

I just learned the grammar for describing people, X は A が B です。Like for example: 私は髪がながいです。

But what if I want to describe someone that "is mine", like my father or girlfriend? Can I say: 私の彼女は易しい人です。Or should I say something entirely different?

Is it a mistake to try to use Imabi as a beginner? I'm currently learning about basic verbs ( http://www.imabi.net/l13regularverbsi.htm ), and its description of standard conjugations is just baffling to me.

wa is an object marker(this pen WA) is essentially (this pen is)

ni is a direction or time marker - sam ni 7:30 ni convenience store for example

wo(pronounced "o") explicitly marks the direct object, usually in a sentence with a verb as to not be confusing.

"ga" (ka with a ") marks a question if used at the end of a sentence. There are a few special cases where this is used mid-sentence too, but you'll learn those later.

"mo" means "also" basically -- for example if I say "I'm going to the convenience store" I would then say "tomodachi(friend) MO convenience store"
