there's no rule about them
using a lot of はs (more than 2) will usually make your sentence too ambiguous or meaningless, but with 実は it's like a set word so it doesn't add any ambiguity
実は, 要は, etc. are often used with another は
hell 実は is even written up as a 副詞 in daijirin instead of a 連語 like 要は

like i said yesterday, this thread has already gathered netouyo assholes.
these delusional racist bigots, who hate korea as much as /pol/acks hate jews and are obsessed with it all the time, dont have ANY intelligence.

none of them cant speak english properly. all they can do is give you the wrong knowledge of japanese. on top of that they are VERY condescending.

mind you its best to move this thread to a different board. you must do it. otherwise, this thread would just go to ruin.

This isn't going to be a long term thing. One of two things will happen. Hiro will eventually step up and either move us back to /a/ where we belong, or to /jp/ which is bearable. Otherwise, these threads will just be ignored until they die, and set upon by your typical /int/ posters who will use it as a second Japanese thread for shitposting brownie points.

Why not just set up base on /qa/. I like /a/, I like /int/ and I like /jp/. I just don't want any more bloodshed!

/qa/ is secluded enough that none of those three boards will give much damn and the board certainly hasn't quite as much justification compared to them.
>>
>>67815445
Unless you want whiny reddit newfags coming in to learn japanese you'd best avoid /qa/.
>>
>>67815445

The thing about 4chan memes is that any board can use any meme given the appropriate situation, regardless of the board the meme originated from. Someone saying "make X great again" for example doesn't necessarily mean they're from /pol/, since at least 99% of 4chan users are sure to have heard or read it before.

At least, that used to be the case. Now people go REEEEE at the sight of memes that didn't come from their board. It's sad how far 4chan has fallen.

djt out of all of the threads on /a/ was the least relevant to the board itself. On top of that it didn't help that the threads themselves where full of off topic "banter" which belonged more on /int/ than anywhere else. So I guess the hotpockets finally started looking at the flood of reports coming out of those threads and actually read through a few of them, realised it had fuck all to do with /a/ and took the only action they could.

Those idiots in djt on /a/ forced the mods hand by their own insistent shitposting.

Serious question: How old are you?

Are you still a NEET?

If you're a NEET, use it to fucking learn Japanese. Like, stop playing videogames right the fuck now and spend every waking moment becoming nip (while jobsearching on the side you fuck)

Learning Japanese is a HUGE time investment. You have to disregard females. You have to disregard porn. You have to disregard videogames.

But it will be worth it
>>
>>67818222
>not playing videogames in Japanese

Part of learning a language is immersing yourself in it via media, that's one of the reasons learning English is so relatively easy.

As a guy programming a videogame, I sometimes wonder if I should program a videogame about learning japanese while i'm learning japanese, I wonder if that's something that could turn out well and actually help me solidify my nip.

>>

>>
>>67818287
but i read on djt that only eroge counts as immersion
>>
>>67818405
It depends on what you're trying to do with the language, I guess?

If you only want to eventually read manga, i guess an hour or two a day will work. But if you're trying to actually make japanese friends you're going to need to rush that shit.

Japanese Language Schools (JLS) make you learn EIGHT HOURS EACH FUCKING DAY. They literally cram you 8 hours of japanese learning every day for 2 fucking years before you achieve fluency.

An hour or two a day doesn't cut it for people taking nip seriously.

>B-Butifel. I'll save some money for it

Look up JLS schools on Go Go Nihon!

http://gogonihon.com/en/language-schools/kyoto/kicl

Only do the language schools rated 5 stars (like this one). The 5 star schools prepare you for the JLPT and EJU exams so you can actually beat the JLPT or enter nip university at the end. iF you already have a bachelor's degree they help y ou out with the jobsearch at the end so even if you're a dumb retard you won't have to leave the country.

The only sad thing is the 5-star schools like this are SO INTENSE you will have NO TIME to work a part-time job. So money is a factor here.

Yes. Just like the schwa and other contractions in English.

Try saying hanhatsu, then say hanpatsu.
The "np" allows your mouth to just flow and do both sounds in a sequence, whereas the nh demands a pause and reset back to the h position.

Yes, that what I was doing, as a self-demonstrating argument.

They're just shitposters who probably have never been here or misinformed people who only repeat what they've seen on TV, since Rio is the de facto capital of Brazil and everything bad or somehow outraging that happens here easily makes its way into the national news and has some braindead retards thinking it's commonplace.

こんなところで立ち話 も なのだ し

のだ has な before since 立ち話 is a noun.

Both のだ and し are explained in Tae Kim.

Yeah I got this from the context, but was wondering why exactly it has that meaning.
Is 立ち話 being used as both the action being done and the reason (hence なんだし) for not doing that action, (and instead going and talking inside (the room))

Two people go to ask the headmistress something. They meet her just outside her room. Before they get to the real issue the headmistress says the line I quoted, referring to her 中 of her room.

>who's brazilian
Fuck off. Don't blame an entire country because of one guy shitposting.
>>
So, maybe they should have moved this thread to /jp/? Wouldn't that make a bit more sense?

What are you talking about? The only shitposter I see here is that american retard
>>
>>67835928
No clue
I got into this like 2 weeks before we were moved to /int/, I know fuck all about kanji
>>
>>67835919
/jp/ isn't really a board about japan, it's just a containment board for some people who get mad if it disappears
>>
>>67835785
"Our little brother got made to kill our cat by mom"
Same exact ergative potential "get" as in english. It only looks passive because the passive causes ergativity. In reality the potential causes ergativity as well in pre-war written japanese.

I don't think you know what "ergative" means
>>
>>67836100
I do. Why do you think there's no subject marked in the given sentence?

I see a topic, an active argument inside the potential, and an ergative argument inside the causative. What do you see?

Shouldn't this be language learning general? Why does it have to be all about Japanese?
>>

いもうとがある
いもうとをもってるという意味
いもうとが居る、そして僕はいもうとがある
違うか?

よく面白くないですが
>>
>>67836331
There's no ergative case in Japanese. Stop making shit up.
>>
>>67836520
Japanese doesn't have cases. You must be confused.
>>
>>67836520
just let it go

Correct?

because this thread gets deleted on /jp/
it's a containment board with an extremely """vigilant""" janitor
