And if the new mod truly wants to improve /a/, does he really think killing off Japanese learning is the way to do it? Any anime/manga fan knows only too well how awful the subbing and translation is, how many mistakes occur and how much never gets translated. If he's actually an /a/non, he should be encouraging anyone who cares about anime to learn Japanese and he should be monitoring the thread to prune out the shitposting and the off-topic banter that a few people spread rampant.
