Everybody I talk to says opening up an independent school in Taiwan isn't worth it nowadays. Obviously the market has suffered from what it was a decade ago, but I can't believe people who say opening up a school isn't worth it. If my venture into entrepreneurship outside education doesn't go well, then I'm thinking about opening up a day care (less stressful than older kids IMO) in a smaller city without a ton of schools.

My gf is getting a masters in applied English and I might go to grad school eventually as well, so I feel like we have the credentials. The only question is whether or not can attract enough kids to make it worthwhile.
