What this anon said. I usually draw the eye first very lightly as a simple shape to make sure that the position is good and jives. Then I move onto the brow, using the "eye" as a guide for the expression I'm trying to achieve. After that's done I go back and erase my eye shape and use the brow to define the detailed eye

You posted in the wrong thread?

Try to draw something at the same size as your model, this way you will see flaws easily. Also it cool to block in value like this, but your model has a soft lighting whereas your drawing has super hard contrast. Perhaps you should try to filterize you model with "mozaic" or "crystallize" to check values repartition.
