I've never felt a need to stop. Art isn't a painful process like too many of you have turned it into. Art to me is like breathing. It's part of me. I've never had to "grind" or deal with any of the emotional issues that plague this forum. Most of you don't need Loomis, you need therapists.

Drawing. A lot. The books can help, art classes with a teacher to guide you, better. But the most important thing is picking up a pencil, and using it.

Mowing lawns at a cemetary. It's very tiring work, especially in the heat, but it gives me time to let my mind wander.

>Hours spent drawing everyday

One, if I'm lucky. Hopefully this winter I can find a job that is less tiring and infringing on my time, or just retreat to NEETdom again for a little while.

>How long you've been doing art

I'm always confused by this question because I can't really think of any period in my life when I wasn't "doing" art. I got more serious about improving in highschool, though, so about six-ish years I guess.

>Your inspiration to keep going

I enjoy making people happy with my art - making them smile or laugh or discuss it excitedly or just brightening their day a little. People generally enjoy my drawings and stories, so I want to make more of them, and make them as good as I can.

kek

It's kinda annoying to keep hearing the unwarranted "thank you for your service" when I walk around in uniform sometimes, so I don't want to be gushy but I am really thankful for all the (good) elementary school teachers that we have. Building a solid foundation (education, social skills, mental health) in the early grades is more important than going to a prestigious college, from what I've seen.

I really appreciate the work that teachers do.. not to mention that elementary school teachers also just happen to be some of the hottest, and genuinely nicest people I've met (just thought I'd throw that in there).

I don't know if you'd know, but since you're in the industry, I gotta ask - is a montessori worth it?
