I think sculpting fits here better. Most people over at /3/ aren't good artists and are only concerned with the technical side of things so the people here are probably more helpful when it comes to just gitting gud at sculpting.

Also whats wrong with having a fun thread that encourages trying out new things? It's surely more interesting than another deviant cringe thread or a thread about some stupid artist that /ic/ dislikes.
