Nothing. Just like with any other art style there are good artists and bad artists. Why do insecure beginners always act like seeing a flaw in a random animu illustration = it's a general flaw in all of anime? That's like looking at some badly drawn portrait in the draw thread and saying "what's with realism and misaligned eyes?"

How to get better at drawing animu waifus?
Draw more animu waifus.
Empathize on 'exaggerating.'
ANYTHING ON STICKY IS A MUST! POTATOES!

What you need moRaae?
1.Draw 'exaggerated style' of your real waifu.
-Else go find the person you want to be you waifu, and draw.
-Draw one side from observation, another for animu style.
-Congratulation you draw animu waifu!
-Now keep going. Hands on paper please.

Empathize on 'exaggerating', not drawing 'animu',
You want your waifu to look as humane as possible.
Follow animu proportions/style, draw 'humanoid'.
'Exaggerate'! cause that is what animu style artist do for living.

2. Understand your waifu.
-Fap to your waifu(s) and still have no idea your waifu(s) 3 size. (= _ = ) . . . yup.
-Construct the way anime industry sketch do.
-Anatomy construction. Important. Get your own proportion.
-Try replicate your favorite character. (Front, Side, Back)
-Tell them how you want them pose. Too hard? More gesture drawing homework for you. Anyway, go on ask them to pose. You are not stopping here.
-Portrait detail, height, 3-size...
-Buy some clothes. Help your waifu get dress. If clothes doesn't fit, don't rip it apart, sell it or donate it. People will love it

Use it to study your waifu(s). Use it to know you preference. Better, you can create your own, if you're up for it.
