How does one start on the porn market? Best place to get commissions, etc.?

1. obviously, you need to "git gud" if you are going to do traditional rule 34 / OC smut. If you want to take the easy way out, sell your soul and make furry porn, those fuckers don't care about the quality of your art as much because they are too autistic to tell when it's poorly done.

just practice more. that's the only advice you really need. do more gesture drawings and focus on the stuff I mentioned. there's no magic trick to improve instantly, sry buddy.
I read the other comments. If you want to learn perspective, go a step back and do more simpler construction studies. don't focus on style and instead try to focus on how to break down the body into simpler masses. those masses are easier to deal with and put into a cohesive perspective. also learn how to achieve depth with lines. closer lines are heavier than the ones farther from the viewer, etc.

Not the same anon, but I can tell you from my own experience. I started last year on tumblr and hentai foundry. Before that I had a few years of experience by doing comics for a paysite, so I finally felt confident enough to start my own thing. At first I was charging 100 EUR (approx 110 USD) for 2 characters without a background. After a few successful commissions (a few hentai foundry features boosted my following) my inbox was filled with requests. Because of the demand I upped my prices to 110 USD for a single character and nothing changed. After that I had to close my commissions because I was unable to keep up with the demand.

tl;dr The price depends by the demand there is for your art.
To get an idea for prices you can check out other commissioning artists that you think have the same skill level as you do.
